Now that Summer Comiket is finally here, will the girls get the game done in time?
In the eleventh episode, it seems that Minaha got a bad grade on her exams. In other words, her grandmother barred her from participating from other activities. It’s saddening to see that happen, but it’s not so surprising either. After all, Minaha did stay past midnight staying at Shiina’s house before her older sister caught her.
Still, it’s obvious that Minaha wants to work on the game since it’s based on her favorite author’s story. Thankfully, the girls came over to Minaha’s house to convince them otherwise. They came up with an agreement if Minaha and Tama get above 70 percent on their exams.
In the second half, we find out that Tama is not having fun drawing while talking to Teru. After Teru asks what Tama what she wants to do, it gives a hint what she will realize after Summer Comiket.
In the twelfth episode, the big day has come as SNS sells their second game, “Starduct Intenzione – Remote.” After selling through all the games at Comiket and playing on a beach, Tama realizes something that she forgot. It seems that she wanted to create her own games from her own ideas. It’s quite obvious after she worked with Minaha. Still, seeing the girls play on the beach is a nice way to finish off the series.
Final Thoughts
While Stella no Mahou is not groundbreaking, I still enjoyed it like other slice of life shows. It was nice to see girls do cute things as they work hard to make their own doujin games. Aside from the cute moments, I also enjoyed how Tama strived to become a better artist. Also, the cast was enjoyable, especially Shiina and Ayane since their interactions are funny. Either way, Stella no Mahou is a fun show for what it is.
