Now that Illya turned into a stuffed animal, the situation looks dire. With brainwashed Rin and Luviagelita going after her, will Illya ever get her body back?
From the looks of it, it seems that Illya managed to transform thanks to reuniting with Sapphire. Sadly, her attacks are no match against the brainwashed Rin and Luviagelita due to her weakened magical circuits. Not only that, they are using odd cards that disappear after they used them. Their attack was so powerful that it created a hole in the floor and Illya fell into Erica’s room.
While it’s obvious that Erica is far from being innocent given what happened to Illya, she did something disturbing. Yes, Erica cut the dress Illya’s body was wearing because she doesn’t know how to take it off. It’s becoming obvious that she is up to no good. Thankfully, Illya managed to regain control of her body by hitting the right area. It’s quite amazing how she can still do it even after Angelica shredded the stuffed animal body into pieces.
On the other hand, it seems that Illya is still outnumbered. While she was able to block the attacks, it’s not enough for her to fight back. Eventually, she got strangled by Angelica as she tells her side of the story. It can be summed up as this: the parallel’s world mana almost got depleted, thus the Ainsworths wants to use the Holy Grail to save it.
I have to admit that this situation feels a bit too similar to Fate/stay night. Now the roles are completely reversed as the Ainsworths takes on Kiritsugu’s ideal. Yes, they want to sacrifice Miyu to save the entire world! This puts Illya in a tough situation whether or not she should become the villain to save Miyu. It’s a tough decision that she to figure out next time.
