Everyone is wondering what got Lucia upset? It’s apparent with the gloves she wear all the time.
I have to admit that aside from Shizuru who is downright adorable, I still like Lucia a lot. This is mostly because she is a tsundere and punches Kotarou all the time. Given that Shizuru is Lucia’s close friend, it makes sense that Lucia will be next. Sure, Chihaya criticizing her over not picking a ball is uncalled for, there might be a good reason.
From the looks of it, the story of Asahi Haruka is closely related to what is happening with Lucia. Apparently, Haruka came to the orphanage and suddenly all the pets died along with students and teachers getting sick. Also, glass suddenly shattered for no reason at all. In the beginning of the episode, she manages to destroy a whole field of sunflowers. Afterwards, she cried while apologizing how filthy she is. From this, it’s already obvious who it might be.
Aside from that, Kotarou starts investigating which involves asking Shizuru about the gloves. It’s apparently a secret, which causes Kotarou to investigate. After Kotarou copies a list from Haruhiko, Lucia discovers a note that sounds like a threat. Afterwards, the glass shattered. With that, Asahi Haruka’s identity is becoming apparent although nobody else notices. Kotarou is obviously defending Lucia’s reputation.
I have to admit that I feel sympathetic towards Lucia. She is reminded of the people who she killed because they touched her in her dreams. Sure, Kotarou saved Lucia after she collapsed, but he is still in denial that Haruka is Lucia. Even after she showed him a leaf that wilted and rotted away, he doesn’t change his mind. This can explain why she doesn’t want to touch any living thing. Still, it’s understandable why Kotarou wants to help her, but apparently she doesn’t want him to.
Aside from the obvious that Asahi Haruka is Lucia, it’s revealed that she doesn’t want him to continue the investigation. this can explain why she shattered the glass as a diversion. Even so, it’s understandable why he continued. He doesn’t want to see her stuffer longer. While he was infected with her poison, he was able to use his rewrite abilities to become resistant to it. In short, he promises to stay by her side as a friend.
Although Lucia’s arc felt somewhat rushed given that some things were cut out, I’m happy that Lucia gotten over her anxiety. Either way, we finally learn about the two teams that are fighting each other. They are Guardian, who wants to protect the world and Gaia, the opposing team that wants to regenerate it. It seems that they are seeking for the so-called key. This makes me wonder if it’s the girl that keeps appearing in Kotarou’s room. I already have a good feeling that it is her, but we’ll find out soon enough.
I have read this in manga i didnt find it interesting exept on the part that he get back to his highschool age, but now from reading your blog post about it i wil add it on my watch list thank you sir.
