At last, Spring has finally come to a close. With that, it’s time to share my thoughts of the last episodes of Hundred and Pan de Peace
Hundred
As expected, the last episode was predictable. Apparently, Vitaly got used and thrown away like a used towel by Claire’s older brother. While she reached the place where Liza was, Claire’s brother basically put an end to Vitaly’s life. Yep, she definitely got backstabbed, but it’s understandable why she wants revenge.
The rest of the episode focused on saving Nesat. She traced a replicant trying to save her older brother from one. In short, Little Garden is in danger of getting destroyed if nobody stops her. In short, Liza gave Hayato special powers to save Little Garden and convince Nesat to come back to her senses. In short, he was able to do that before Little Garden got destroyed completely.
In short, Emilia and Hayato kissed each other during the fireworks and of course, the secret got leaked out. Yep, Claudia spills the beans about her true identity. In short, Claire got angry and pointed the canon at Hayato and Emilia. Yep, it’s bound to happen, but I can’t blame her.
Final Impressions
I have to say that there is not much I can say about this show since it was mediocre. While the battles were somewhat interesting, it felt generic overall. Probably the only character that was interesting was Claire. It’s too bad she didn’t win.
Aside from that, at least Hayato is not Bell in a sense of being completely weak-minded and ridiculously powerful. That is saying much since he is still a typical male harem lead.
Pan de Peace
For the last two episodes, Mai invited her friends to her vacation home. Yes, it’s a beach episode. The girls basically had fun at the beach and had bread for dinner. In the last episode, Mai got a bit lonely sleeping alone. Since the girls got hungry, they had a midnight snack after Mai asked if she could sleep together. Eventually, they took a picture together after Mai officially gets accepted into the group.
Final Impressions
While this show is smoothing given that the girls had fun baking and eating bread along with other activities, it’s too short. If only it was 24 minutes long for each episode, it would have more potential of becoming a very enjoyable slice of life story. Even so, there are a lot of cute moments, especially when it comes to Noa who uses a French bread as a weapon. Not to mention, Mai and Fuyumi fighting with each other to win her heart was cute too. Aside from that, it’s decent, but would have been better if it was longer.
With that, this wraps up all the Spring anime. Just want to give a heads up that we will be moving to a new and faster server in a week or so. It should take an hour or two, so I will announce it when it happens.
Haven’t seen Hundred but all I can say about Pan de Peace is missed potential due to short allotted time. The show died down after episode 3, kinda got on the right track after Nao’s sister was introduced and then got its groove back after Mai’s much needed debut. Overall decent.
The short episodes is the main weakness I have as you mention is the episodes being short. If it was a bit longer, it would be a nice slice of life. At least it lives up to the yuri protential. Yep, it seems that rivalry couples are becoming a thing with Mai and Fuyumi.
