Now that spring is over, it’s time to share what I plan on watching along with plans for this blog.
New Game!
Air Date: July 4th, 2016
Studio; Dogakobo
Given that there is anime about girls becoming voice actors and making anime (well, for the most part), it’s nice to see one about video game development. This show is about a girl named Suzukaze Aoba who decides to work at a game studio after graduation. Since this show has an all-female cast, it makes me wonder what kind of games they will make.
Prisma Illya 3rei
Airdate: June 25th, 2016
Studio: Silver Link
While the last season was disappointing since it was a wrap-up of 2wei, 3rei will be an improvement. Given the cliffhanger from the last season, it’s quite obvious that things are going to become more action packed, especially given how mysterious Miyu’s past. Either way, hopefully 3rei will live up to the hype by showing more magical girl action.
Love Live! Sunshine
Airdate: July 3rd, 2016
Studio: Sunrise
At the end of March, Muse had their last live concert, which signals the passing the torch to the successor group, Aquors. Like the last group, it makes me wonder how Aquors will raise to stardom. With that, it makes me wonder how they were fare and how interesting the girls will be. We’ll find out in a week or so.
Rewrite
Airdate: July 2, 2016
Studio: 8 Bit
It has been awhile since there been an Anime adaptation of Key visual novels. Rewrite pretty much marks the post Maeda Jun era of Key visual novels since the scenario is written by three different people. I didn’t play much of the visual novel, but I wonder how this adaptation will fare along with the story.
Life Updates
Yes, the past few weeks have been a very rough because of car troubles. In short, I got a new car earlier this month, which means that I won’t be going to any conventions anytime soon. There is simply not enough money and that I can’t justify spending thousands of dollars to go to one. I would rather spend money on Anime merchandise and video games.
On the other hand, I have been very disappointed by how my blog is doing. As a result, I have lost some motivation to blog compared to previous years. The lack of comments is bothering me a lot given that it’s an indicator that people are reading my posts and interacting. I admit that I am not a big fan of likes since they only tell me that someone likes the post, not why. This is frustrating considering that ever since January, it barely went above 20 for the whole month. However, complaining about it won’t do anything. It’s obvious the blog needs to evolve. Feel free to share any suggestions like having guest editorials or reviews as long they are constructive. In addition, I plan to reopen the forums during the summer.
In other news, I will be going on vacation starting July 1st and will return on the 13th. I will have access to the internet, meaning that the posting rate shouldn’t be impacted as much. However, I won’t post too much since I need a break. With that, hopefully I will finish one show to marathon during vacation and that show will probably be Kiniro Mosaic. In addition, I also got the Idolmaster 10th Live Blu-rays, which I will be reviewing it eventually.
With that, what shows are you planning to watch this summer? Feel free to share.
All but Rewrite are also on my schedule.
The car thing is tough luck. Hopefully this new one won’t be as bothersome.
I wish you a happy and safe vacation when the time comes. When you return I’m sure you’ll be ready to kick butt once more after relaxing your body and mind.
As expected, Summer will probably not be as busy since I am not doing 5-6 shows at once, but for the most part. Still, there is still shows I want to watch that I haven’t watch yet, so that has to wait.
Yes, hopefully the new car will last longer since there is 7 years warranty. Just need to pay it off quicker so I can free up money for other things. But yes, hopefully vacation will be fun and things will be better for the blog. Hoping things will turn around for the better for the second half of 2016.
