Sure, I had a bad day, but it seems that there is now a teacher that is questioning Kodaria’s teaching methods.
After so many episodes, you would have thought that Kodaria would be plan evil given past activities. Well, this episode pretty much proves this wrong since there is another teacher, Saginomiya who thinks that the happiness class is completely useless and the academy should get rid of it. While she was observing the students, she noticed how useless and the lack of thoughtfulness Kodaria’s students have, especially Hanako. She also noticed that a stove stopped working after Hanako tried to use it. After examining it, Saginomiya saw nothing wrong with it. Of course, she doesn’t know the extremely terrible luck Hanako has. Still, I’m glad that Kodaria treated her students nicely in contrast this time around.
As for the swimming lesson, yes it was bound to be a disaster although it’s nice to see the girls wear swimsuits. Kodaria basically let them play in the pool before they have to race against the school’s swimming team. As expected, none of Kodaria’s students won since none of her students have any training in swimming.
Even so, things got worse as a thunderstorm came and Hanako managed to get stuck by the pool lane lines. Thankfully, Botan and Hibari came to save her before Saginomiya admits defeat and tries to save her too. Thankfully with Botan’s knowledge, they held their breath and managed to survive the lightning strike. It just shows that Botan is not useless as she said so many times. Either way, the dark glow Hanako’s hair pin seems a bit too ominous to what will happen in the future.
Aside from that, it was nice to see Hibari’s house and yes, the interior decorations make it look like she comes from a high-class family. Even the clothing she wears make her look pretty. Sadly, she is in denial over the color pink and girly things when she wears a pink dress. I don’t buy it. As expected, Hibiki’s cooking is still a disaster and it shows after Ren ate one of the rice balls she made and passed out shortly afterwards. Aside from that, at least the lesson from hell is over and I can’t wait to see what the girls do during summer break next time. ¶
