Now that Hibari became friends with Hanako and Botan, how unfortunate they will be as they get physically examined while their home room teacher, Kodaira observes them?
From the looks of it, it seems that Hanako probably got it so badly because she doesn’t seem to know what unfortunate things are happening around her. Sure, Hibari have an embarrassing past involving liking construction signs that are polite as revealed from last time since she became intrigued by it as she passes it every day. She even put an umbrella to protect it from being completely covered by the snow. The sad thing is that her teacher already knows about it. Likewise, Botan only suffers from poor health, which causes her to have a negative outlook in life since she can only treat herself. Those misfortunes can easily be fixed with time. As for Hanako, it’s a different story.
On the other hand, it seems that Kodaira is intrigued by Hanako for some reason. It is not because she doesn’t have any particular misfortunes, but rather where the stem of the four-leaf clover is pointing to. Apparently, Hanako’s is pointed right instead of pointed up. Does this represent that Hanako is the unluckiest girl in the class or she just perceives everything as being lucky? Who knows, but with her egg hatching from last time and the four-leaf clover in a different orientation, everything is possible. There is no wonder why Kodaira deployed Timothy, a bunny robot to observe them.
I have a feeling that Hibari is not too unfortunate compared to her friends since she had accurate measurements from the physicals and didn’t have any weight woes. In comparison, it seems that Hanako is having a hard time with measuring her height while Botan can’t even get the measurement pass a negative weight due to her poor health. The thing that I find ironic is that Botan worries about her weight despite it going in the right places. Yep, it seems that Hanako became jealous after she found out how well endowed Botan is.
Aside from the physicals and interviews, it seems that Timothy helps guide Hibari and her friends to try out some clubs. While I already expected for Hibari to impress with her cooking given that she is innocent and all, I felt bad for Botan. Sure, it’s understandable that she wants to become stronger, but she ends up injuring herself one way or another while trying some sports. Of course, seeing Hanako chased by a bunch of animals with Hibari taking her and Botan as they run for their lives was hilarious and cute at the same time.
While it’s funny and endearing to see the animal chase unfold, I felt sympathy towards the red-hair girl, which her name is not revealed yet and Ren, the short white-haired girl. Somehow, Ren managed to survive the aftermath of various animals piling on top of her. With that, it makes me wonder what misfortune she has aside from the red-haired girl who has a tendency of getting lost. We’ll find out soon enough as Kodaria begins the healing process.
Botan’s head is a treasure. While Hanako’s cuteness is undeniable, looking at Botan brings absolute joy. I feel bad for laughing whenever she gets hurt.
Mr Timothy-kun is alright but Evil-Sensei is the teacher that has my undivided attention.
As cirno9fan said on my coverage, Hanako is ironically the luckiest girl of the three despite it seeming that her luck is the worst.
Hibari’s fetish is funny.
Yep considering how pretty Botan is… Have to admit that it was cute to see her try out some sports and fail somehow.
But still, I won’t be surprised considering that Hanako has a lot of dumb luck. Considering that she managed to survive a fall, a puppy bite and getting her egg to hatch, there is probably something special that make her lucky even though it doesn’t look like it. We’ll see as the story progresses.
