Now that Rin lost her servant to Caster, she and Shirou are left at the mercy of getting Illya’s help. Yep, you know what this means, don’t you?
From the start, we already know that Caster is a very manipulative woman who uses her magic, even through unethical means to achieve her goals. However, her back-story shows a different side with her master trying to generate mana by sacrificing innocent lives of young children. She apparently doesn’t like that and wants it shut down, thus causing the old Master to use his command seals to unsuccessfully control her.
It’s quite surprising that she doesn’t want her master to waste the lives of innocent children yet she takes mana from a bunch of innocent people. I guess she only wants the victims to become an empty shell instead of gruesomely killing them. Even so, I have to admit that the old master deserved what he got since he was conceited. Not only that, we know that Kirei will have some role in her demise.
From the look of Illya, it seems that gruesome scene that everyone has been talking about is going to become a reality. I am not sure if I want to see it or not since I saw Sella and Leysritt get killed brutally by Gil himself. We barely knew them, but I guess we’ll see them again in Illya 2wei Hertz. Aside from that, I have a feeling that the battle between Gil and Berserker is going to be brutal given how Gil killed both of Illya’s maids. I have to admit that I do not look forward to looking at that scene now that I have seen this.
With that, it seems that the next episode might have that scene and I might skip it when Beserker is defeated or Gil comes into contact with him. Either way, at least we know how Caster’s fate will be decided in the next episode.
