Yozora tries playing some visual novels for a change!
Believe it or not, this episode kind of felt like the time when Sena played a dating sim for the first time back in the first season and got the bad ending. The only difference is that Yozora plays an Otome game (a visual novel aimed for a female audience) and instead goes out with guys. Believe it or not, I’m not too interested in those games, but it’s the same idea, except a lot cheesier. Unlike Sena who raised her study, Yozora leveled up all the stats and ended up dating a delinquent before getting a bad ending. It’s just surprises me that both of them experienced the same result. I would have like her to play through it again for a good ending, but it’s apparent that visual novels aren’t the games she enjoys.
On the other front, we have some faux time machine action. Kodaka tried to change the past by revealing some future stuff to his only friend, Yozora even though it’s a dream. It’s sad, but at the same time, it’s quite amusing to see the end result. It makes me wonder if Rika ever had the capabilities to make one in the first place even though she is a so-called genius.
Aside from the activities, there are two things I noticed right off the bat. The first is of course Yukimura’s new outfit. No matter what, she looks good in the suit although she is way to feminine to ever become a man. I think Yozora should just give up on suggesting outfits for her since it’s not making anyone laugh, but instead make them look excited. Aside from that, it seems that Rika is changing her hairstyle often. Besides letting it down and removing the glasses, she died her hair blonde and wear pigtails. I don’t know what is she trying to do, but I prefer her natural hair color.
