Make this stop! This drama is putting me to sleep…
While this episode wasn’t horrible in terms of fanservice (besides the out of place hentai movie the three male classmates were watching), it definitely felt serious because Shiina desperately confesses to Yuuto in the last episode, thus causing him to become depressed. Apparently, the producers love hitting the reset button on the relationship between Haruka and Yuuto every time they go through a new season. That is just a bunch of malarkey since this should have been resolved a long time ago, not shoved in our face again just for the sake of drama.
On the other hand, I was happy that this conflict finally got resolved, perhaps for the second or third time. It’s quite obvious that Yuuto already decided that he loves Haruka from all the promises he made to her in the past two seasons. That’s why it doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Still, it was pretty hilarious to see Hazuki wanting to take a swing at Yuuta with her chainsaw for betraying Haruka for Shiina when it’s a big misunderstanding. Thankfully, Nanami and Mika stopped her from doing that and let them solve the problem on their own.
Aside from the drama with Haruka getting upset, I’m happy that she realized her true feelings. Clearly, Shiina was too desperate knowing that she stands no chance against Haruka. Not only that, Yuuto, who is probably the most indecisive male lead in any romance anime has finally made his choice of picking Haruka given his past promises. While it’s disappointing to see yet another kiss tease, I think we will finally see them do it in the last episode hopefully. Otherwise, I would have completely wasted my time watching this finale. Aside from that, it seems that the show is finally going back to its roots and focus more on some Otaku subculture in the next episode with the Summer Comiket.
