I suddenly realized that I have nothing to write about for the next few days. So, I decided to start chipping away my ever-growing backlog.
With this episode, the spotlight is on Sora as she faces more stress than usual.
While I have never experienced an extremely stressful life from having to commute far away to attend high school, it’s definitely taking a toll on Miu’s and Sora in grades. When I got a glimpse of some of the grades she got on her tests (a 48 and 56), there is no doubt that she will get the tiger moms angry for her poor performance. To make things worse, Hina actually blurted those horrible grades out loud and Miu noticed. Wow, she should have viewed them in the bathroom instead to avoid getting scorned. Thankfully, Yuuta wasn’t there to hear them or there would be trouble.
On the other hand, that is the least of our worries. The problem lies with Sora deciding to quit the choir club so she can dedicate herself to the family. I know she loves to sing, but believes that she doesn’t have enough time to dedicate for practice because of the chores. I know she is in a difficult situation, but quitting the choir club is a bit too extreme. Maybe she is dedicating too much time to the family. Either way, she should allow others to help her out so she can pursue the things she enjoys. On the other hand, Kurumi feels that way too since she always plays characters that always get beaten up. To make things worse, she cannot pass a single audition. Thankfully, things worked out in the end, which allowed them to change their minds. Raika’s encouragement and Sora’s realization that she could share the burden while walking with Yuuta allowed her to retract the resignation letter. Not only that, Kurumi managed to pass an audition for a supporting role thanks to what Sora had said.
Aside from that, Raika continues to amaze me. It’s not because she looks awfully similar to a certain silver-haired princess. She basically hugs Sora into her chest. Not only that, she compliments her for being cute. Still, the girls’ poor performance worries me as Yuuta relatives might split them up again.
