Apparently, I didn’t know that Demon Kings are perverts.
As shown in the last two episodes with each focusing on the different kingdoms, we finally arrive at the episode where the heroes hang out at Pastillage. While the heroes converse at a title drinking some tea, it’s interesting to see the relationship each hero has with their respective ruler. Apparently, they are rather close because they seem to pamper them in a good way. Still, I’m surprised that Becky still haven’t reacted to Shinku’s romantic relationship with Millhi even after saying kind things to him after beating down the Demon King. Perhaps Becky thinks that they are best friends, although it’s much more than that.
Meanwhile, I find it pretty foolish for Cou to awaken the statue without knowing what it does. Apparently, her unintentional actions caused Valério to awaken and wreak havoc at her palace. You wonder what kind of havoc he caused? Yes, he peeped at the bath windows that have a bunch of girls. This is very ironic since a so-called Demon Kings would take over the world. Instead, we have a big pervert? Is that the reason why he got sealed away by the king? It must be or otherwise, the heroes and everyone else wouldn’t be using their weapons on him. Still he was rather entertaining character to watch from a comical perspective.
On the other hand, I was shocked to see that the Hero King is actually a human named Adélaïde Grand Marnier. She doesn’t have any of the squirrel girl features that Cou has. This makes me wonder if she was a hero from Earth that decided to live in Flonyard and had a child with Squirrel people. It’s a possibility, although I’m quite curious if her parents worried about her not living in the same world. Still, her powers are amazing as she beats Valério instantly. This proves that the Pastillage kingdom has a pretty strong ancestry when it comes to magic.
Aside from the comedy between Adélaïde and Valério, it was nice to see some sparks flying from the heroes once again. It was also interesting to learn more about Pastillage and some history behind it. Since the two staying a bit longer, it’s expected that they will hang around and watch the three kingdoms have a friendly war against each other. It might be interesting to see how they will react to it given the time period they are now in.
Aside from that, I liked how the producers are giving some more moments between Millhi and Shinku. They make a cute couple given how much he impressed her since the first season and their confession.
Notice: Starting tomorrow, I will be on vacation to Boston for a few days. Since there isn’t much going on in the next few days, I will have posts scheduled in the meantime. However, it shouldn’t affect my ability to watch currently airing shows as the subs comes out on Sunday.
