Tari Tari – Episode 7 – Unhealthy Diets and the Hourseback Riding Dream

August 14, 2012 by Chikorita157 2 Comments
This is too embarrassing!

Oh my Sawa, what did you do to yourself?!

Konatsu’s idea of a school festival is just crazy.

Compared to Wakana’s episode, Sawa’s drama is rather predictable. I never thought her father would found out what she will do in the future and attempt to stop it. It goes to say that most Asian families want their child to have good paying jobs and become successful in the world. Also, Sawa’s dad kind of reminded me of Kirino’s, which is very strict. On the flip side, her mother just gives her the stuff and doesn’t care. Still, it’s funny that she hates her father and told him to go bald, although its kind of disrespectful to say those kinds of things.

She doesn’t look well…

If you watched some horse riding in the London Olympics, you should know that the people who are riding them are skinny and don’t have a good physique. If you can tell, obviously Sawa doesn’t stand a chance at doing horseback riding as a professional career since she is too tall and well endowed. If she had the physique of Konatsu, there might be a possibility. However, binge dieting or developing an eating disorder is very unhealthy way to lose weight and will cause health problems. From her spacing out from malnourishment, I felt worried. Of course, this is not made any better when she fells off the horse during some competition.

After that cliffhanger, I think we are in for some full-blown drama next time as her father was right all along. Still, it’s a coincidence that her and Inaba decided to unbutton their shirts in front of a male even though the reasons are different. Meanwhile, the moment where Wakana reacts to the heart-shaped rice with “I love” in her lunch box was really cute. It makes me wonder how she manages to attract all these hilarious moments. It’s probably by luck.

Yeah, weight is the first concern when trying to be a Jockey and Sawa is just too big. But that doesn’t mean she must throw away her dream, she can just change it a bit into something more realistic and still keep being together with the horses she love. 🙂

You have a point there, but I’m not sure what she will do besides professional horse back riding. Probably teach horse riding lessons or something. Who knows, but we’ll hopefully find out next time.
