Wow, a Spanish man stalking Sakai? It can’t get any better than this!
I admit that the scene where a Spanish man chases after Sakai with a pet pig was hilarious. Although I don’t know any Spanish, her saying “I don’t money” pretty much took home the bacon. It’s a known fact that most Japanese people have problems with English because Japanese uses a completely different sentence structure. Although it’s easy for us, learning English as a second language is probably the most difficult compared to others.
Aside from that, I kind of predicted that everyone would bail out after the recital, leaving Konatsu back at square one. However, I liked the idea of combining the Badminton club with the second Choir club. It kills two birds with one stone and enabled both the boys and girls to continue what they doing. Sounds reasonable right? Absolutely!
On the other hand, my hatred for the vice principal elevates since she still have a grudge on Konatsu. She might have gotten over her stage flight. In the vice principal’s eyes, she cannot get over that embarrassing incident and almost threw away the application. She has to get over it since its already old news and most of the viewers already hate her. Then again, there might be another reason she is so against it. Probably she hasn’t gotten over jealously towards Sakai’s mother during her high school years. Whatever it might be, I think it will get fleshed out in future episodes.
Besides the mean vice president, this episode felt relatively calm and the compromise was fairly reasonable. Of course, Sawa still looks pretty as always, especially with that side ponytail and her swimsuit. Their singing along with one of the guys sounded relatively decent. Still, I wonder how the newcomer will sound like when they actually perform. Also, that man appears again? Oh boy, we are in for some craziness next time.
While I want to defend Konatsu till the very end, I have to agree that NO REAL WORLD SCHOOL would’ve accepted such an half assed Club proposal. 😀
Yeah, the proposal is kind of lazy, but hey… it’s a good compromise. Otherwise, both them and the two boys would get left out in the dust.
