Since the spring anime will come to an end pretty soon, I may as well take the time and show what I have planned for the summer. As you would expect, I won’t watch much since I usually use this time to catch up on my backlog. Additionally, I’ll share what I have in store for the next two months. (Image Source)
Dog Days’ (Dash)
Last year, I have marathoned all 13 episodes of Dog Days while on vacation. The first season was fun and all, but it gave me some mixed feelings regarding the story. Thankfully, the characters were enjoyable at the very least.
Somehow, it got a second season and from my expectations of Seven Arcs with sequels, perhaps they might improve the story a bit more. Then again, I might end up eating my words if it has more of the same.
Tari Tari
If you seen Hanasaku Iroha, you might have some expectations of how it will turn out since this show has the same production team. The only exception is that Mari Okada is not writing the story, but instead Masakazu Hashimoto. As for the premise, we have to wait on that since this is an original production after all
This pretty much wraps up what I will watch this summer besides Hyouka. As always, this list is subject to change as I might add more to my plate, but it’s unlikely.
Other Summer Plans
As you seen already, I’m actively recording two episodes of my Idolmaster 2 Let’s Play each week. I plan to have it all done by the end of June, when I expect to receive my copy of Pokémon Black 2 from the mail. Once finished, I’ll begin a written Let’s Play of the new Pokémon game. It might take a while because of my Japanese skills although I expect to know most of the basic grammar rules by then.
In addition, I’m currently attending summer classes to finish up the courses needed to graduate next spring. While it didn’t impact my posting rate since I still have a lot of free time.
Aside from that, I wonder what you will watch next season? Feel free to share your thought below.
>_> This is it?!? Nothing else interests you? (Granted, I can understand WHY nothing else interests you this season)
I was going to watch Yuru Yuri Second Season, but I haven’t even completed the first season… but even with that, there is not much I really want to watch. So, I’m playing it safe this season I suppose.
@chikorita157 after seen season2 preview of dog days i think they improved the story since this time nanami which is shinku rival will be summoned not by millhi but by galleta kingdom so they will fight alot also becky will come along with shinku. here the preview what do you think?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPcpp44a4cg
For this Summer, I originally want to watch Dog Days and Kyokai Horizon too, but since I didn’t watch the first season, I plan to put both on hold too. Good thing I watched Rinne no Lagrange already, but I will still gonna rewatch the first part of the anime anyway.
It happened to me in one instance when I watched the second season of Nogizaka Haruka back in 2009 while watching the first season. Then again, it didn’t matter much since it’s a comedy show and I won’t miss too much by watching the second ahead of time…
