Like suspected, the girls wants to take a summer vacation to the place where Saki will move before she leaves…
One of the things that are very apparent is Saki’s uneasiness about having to move. It’s true that she is an outgoing girl, but she is still hiding the truth. From the bad dreams she sees with her becoming separated from her friends, I understand how she feels since they are her best friends. Even so, the part that stumps me the most is the inability to share her feelings about the move. She wants her father to get the new job, but don’t want to move at the same time. When she reveals her feelings to Natsumi, it makes me wonder why she doesn’t stay over someone’s house until middle school ends. Perhaps she wants to stay by her father’s side or something… Whatever it might be, the girls will probably use the wishing rock so she doesn’t have to move.
On the other hand, the way Yuka acts in this episode was just bonkers. It’s not because she brought a kitchen sink for a trip that last a few days. She just got excited when she saw the Tokyo Tower. Yeah, everyone expects this because it’s the place where they can start their idol career even though it’s a dream at this point. Also, she caused some trouble on the boat like faking Saki out when she tries to wash her hands and getting seasick. Despite being a handful, she brings a lot of life to the group, which is why I still enjoy her personality.
Aside from that, apparently the girls’ take a vacation to Miyake Island (三宅島), which is a tropical paradise that resides in Tokyo. Off the bat, first impressions of the place were rather negative from the rudeness a girl who has a really deep tan gave after saving Yuka. Even so, it’s obvious that the next episode is a beach episode, which will be a test if Saki actually wants to move there or not.
