Unfortunately, 961 Production couldn’t just leave the girls alone and has to bully our beloved Hibiki. Cue fan rage at the sight of Project Jupiter…
No matter what, Project Jupiter simply cannot disappear and they always have to rain on the girls’ parade. Their last plot of changing the magazine cover was only the tip of the iceberg. Now, they now attempting to butt into an animal show that Hibiki is part of. Thankfully, the Producer is a bit more aware of the schemes they are pulling and won’t leave it without a fight. He eventually found out and told them off like a man. As for Hibiki, she unfortunately gets tricked as someone drop her off near a cliff so nobody can find her. This way, Project Jupiter can hijack the show. Cue rage…
To add insult to injury, Iniumi gets upset at her for some reason and unwilling to work with her for the show. Now, she has to work with this other dog that misbehaves and even eats the microphone. Although losing it is a big deal since these professional microphones cost a good amount of money, I still find it amusing how he manages to do this. Aside from this setback, I don’t really blame Iniumi for being so upset. It’s clear that Hibiki cares deeply for her pets by how she treats them and makes them homemade food. They don’t realize that she still has a career to pursue and therefore can’t always be around. This is one of the contributing reasons Iniumi was upset. She only wanted to stay by her side. I think all pets want that, especially the dogs.
Thankfully, everything gets resolved in the end as Hamzou runs back to 765pro and Haruka fetching Hibiki’s pets so they can take part on the show. As for Kuroi and Project Jupiter, they were massively disappointed after their plan failed. Also, I kind of chuckled when the black dog tried to ask Iniumi and gets rejected. Besides from that, I noticed something fishy with the coloring of the fur for the rabbit and dog since they look different to their appearance in episode 11. Clearly, A-1 Pictures are cutting corners to save the animation budget for the best parts of the show like the performances and such. Even so, this episode wasn’t that bad like other people have believed.
Amidst the trouble Hibiki faced with her dog, we get a tidbit of Chihaya’s tragic event that happened in her family. This is somewhat ironic since we saw her having so much fun that she couldn’t stop laughing in the last episode. Clearly, she is still suffering. After all, her parents haven’t stop fighting over the lost of their little brother. This can explain why she is so gloomy all the time despite the efforts from Haruka to get her spirits up. I feel that Chihaya really deserves a nice warm hug after all the problems she experience.
My favorite comet is Shoemaker-Levy 9. Know why? Because in 1994 it broke into 21 pieces and slammed into Jupiter with a force of over 20 million megatons of TNT. Ruining Hibiki’s episode… how dare they…
I can understand that… no girl should never experience something like this and it looks like they are going to sabotage Makoto next… damn, can’t they ever give a break? (In short, I find your comment amusing)
Also, my hate for Jupiter only grows my hatred for Justin Bieber as it’s the same crap. A pretty boy that fangirls squeals for while making crappy music that’s killing American pop music… or overshadows it as there is still good pop music, but hardly noticeable in this sea of mediocrity.
