If hypnotism could cure masochism so easily, then Mio wouldn’t need those extreme experiments. Unfortunately, the world isn’t so ideal and as a result, Taro’s masochism is replaced with a wide range of rather perverted fetishes.
Hypnotism has many applications that includes calming a person down, make them act funny or break smoking habits. If hypnotism actually cures masochism works, then everyone would use it. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case when the masochism is replaced with something crazier. The fetishes ranges from lolicon, a butler who likes every girl he sees and lastly, he becomes gay for Tatsukichi. As they say, the easy way out will only cause trouble in the end.
As we all know, lolicons are disgusting in real life and highly controversial. However, they are pretty funny if used in Anime. For instance, Taro became one by making love with Noa while abandoning his love for Yuuno… The stuff he does to Noa in the gym closet was pretty gross too.
The second hypnotism was also a big failure since Taro becomes an underpants butler and starts making love with every girl she sees over their bloomers, calves and other things. If I was one of these girls, I would be scared out of my mind, especially when they try to kiss you.
After many frustrating attempts, Mio finally cures his masochism in the last hypnotism. After Mio hits and insults him, he doesn’t seem to enjoy it. After they confirm it, they party like it’s 1984. So, this means that he is finally cured of his perverted masochist? Or is it?
At first, he acted like a normal boy. When you look closer, it seems that he doesn’t like girls anymore. Instead, he likes his friend, Tatsukichi. Since Taro likes him so much, he does every possible thing with Tatsukichi that includes bringing him boxed lunch and tying their legs together so they can run together. Things get even funnier when he admits to his mom and sister that he likes Tatsukichi instead. Their hearts instantly gets crushed after they heard the truth.
I expected that Taro would crossdress after Tatsukichi crosdressed. In a way, this reminded me of the time where Souta crossdressed as Kotori so Inami could continue to work at the restaurant. It makes me wonder, if this worked for Inami, I think it would work on Yuuno if Taro crossdresses to go on a date with her so he won’t get punched. Then again, Mio would probably be disgusted of him.
If you haven’t realized, Mio slapping him, Yuuno dressed in a bunny girl suit and her indirect kiss did not work. I think there is something that will and it involves inflicting a lot of pain to Taro. Mio does this when she gives him a big beating. After he got his beating, he becomes the extreme masochist once again. So yeah, even though hypnotism worked at first, it was a big sham. I guess masochism isn’t so easy to cure after all.
Lastly, I felt sorry for Yuuno when he takes Noa and becomes infatuated with Tatsukichi. The way Taro betrays her makes me want to punch the lights out of him the same way Mio did at the end. Fortunately, Yuuno still loves him despite of his effects from the hypnotism. So much that she wanted to confess, but instead run away from embarrassment. Hopefully it will end with Yuuno and Taro together since they are a really cute couple.
