In this stimulating episode of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, the girls walk to a beach to unearth something that will restore their Toys. In the preview segment for this episode, it was expected to see some fanservice even though its not the amount most people expected.
The girls decide to head for the beach to find something that would restore their toys. Ironically, they didn’t take it so serious with the girls stripping into their swimsuits. They weren’t the only ones who wanted to relax on the beach. The G4 and Henriette (really Aresené in disguise) were relating at the same beach too. I still can’t believe Milky Holmes haven’t realized that the workers are the thieves… I also still wondered why the girl’s chests grew so quickly (excluding Sherlock)? I thought they are thirteen-year-old girls… I guess not.
Well, we get to see them in bikinis and swimsuits. Kokoro’s swimsuit is probably the funniest of out of the girls. She is basically wearing the school swimsuit with G4 written on it. It seems pretty childish since intelligence doesn’t make a person more mature. I also forgot to mention that Henriette’s swimsuit is the most revealing out of the bunch. In a way, it resembles Aresené’s outfit.
Some funny stuff happens to the girls when they are searching for food in the ocean and on the beach. This had some hilarious moments that include Nero having her fish and crab stolen by the damn seagulls, Cordelia trapped in the seaweed, Hercule being groped by a perverted Octopus and Sheryl getting hit by Tsugiko’s bat in her attempt to smash the watermelon (shown above). Luck doesn’t seem to be playing right for Milky Holmes, especially when they don’t have their Toys.
Unfortunately, it started raining and all the girls took shelter in the cave. The cave supposed to have the treasures of Baskerville, a former detective. In the cave, there is a series of traps that involves most of the gang falling into an underground pit, being trapped in one room, falling into that room and lastly, a trap that fills the whole room with water. Cold water starts filling when Nero and Sheryl pulled on of the boxes that has a figurine in it. Talking about the figurines, it seems the stuff Baskerville owned was pretty outrageous like a spoiled G-string and an old gaming console.
Nevertheless, Nero’s toys worked stopped the room from filling up with cold water. Instead, warm water fills up, which takes Nero, Sheryl, Henriette and Saku to an underground hot spring.
Cordelia’s delusions are so epic that I couldn’t stop laughing. This comprises of Kaoru’s Cordelia’s biting Hercule’s ear, her hallucinations of her being an actress and complaining to the director about getting naked when she wants to in the first place. The chaos from Cordelia seems to be a handful for Hercule that she needs Hirano’s help to calm her down.
Sadly, climbing through the secret passage was difficult and they end up slidding back where they started. Also, someone complained that there wasn’t enough fanservice since that they need to add some more by having them naked. This gives us some Mugivision™ with Cordelia stripping Hercule’s swimsuit and Tsugiko attempting to do the same thing to Hirano. I guess Mugi would enjoy it if one of her female friends were to do it…
After everyone climbed from the hole, they find a hot spring that has a really big squid that grabs Hirano by the tentacles. While the squid looks very familiar to the bloopers from the Mario games, I can’t help to think about Ika Musume. Ika must have sent the giant squid to invade human kind and make the girls her slaves. Well, Cordelia seemed to be a bit more vicious than Chizuru that beats the crap out of the squid and kills it. After the squid was defeated and the rest of the girls came back, they start eating the squid’s tentacles. Ika must be angry that her giant squid didn’t succeed in her invasion of human kind… Then again, her plan’s to invade humankind will always be a failure
Like the last episode, this one was over the top with some really fun moments. Before I watched this episode, I thought the show would go over the top with the fanservice. Fortunately, that didn’t happen since the only fanservice, what I have see is the girls getting naked (with censorship), Henriette’s swimsuit and the naughty G-string. In a way, this beach and hot spring episode is a parody of all the fanservicy episodes and shows out there. The way they incorporated this parody is a genius…
Lastly, in the commercial transition sequences, it shows Saku in her octopus form… Hey wait, didn’t seen something like that before? Well yes, Luka from Vocaloid has a octopus form too. Makes sense since Saku looks familiar to her even though she doesn’t have the same personality.
