I have to say, Seitokai Yakuindomo is probably the mildly enjoyable series in the 2010 summer season since it has funny jokes with Episode 5 more so than Episode 6. Yet, our completely sane Takatoshi keeps getting these galage magazines because everyone thinks that all men are interested in those kind of things. It doesn’t surprise me either because like Takatoshi, I am not so interested in ecchi or rather the erotic works out there since it’s not worth polluting your mind with junk (like porn and no offense to people who like these kinds of content).
It doesn’t mainly because Yui tried to hang a bunch of them upside down just to skip out of the big marathon. However, it did not work… Shino putting her fate in the Toru Toru Bozu does this when she realized about the photo shoot that she didn’t agree to in a swimsuit. Following the results that Yui had, it epically failed.
It makes me wonder… Are Toru Toru Bozu really that effective in real life? Hanging thousands of them around your home when a category 5 hurricane is about to make landfall in your direction in two days is not likely going to produce any results. Sure, that is going to keep the hurricane away because you know damn well that it’s going to flood and blow stuff everywhere. You are better off hanging them upside down and evacuate since you know its going to hit… Then again, hurricanes are never a laughing matter by the way and I hope it doesn’t happen to anyone. To be fair, I would be devastated if I lost my belongings and my home after it was hit by a hurricane.
In this day of age, knowing how to use a computer is becoming more important as jobs and education uses and embraces new and existing technologies. Additionally, the Internet is increasingly becoming important as it becomes a cheaper way to buy thing, a source for information and means of communicating with other people around the world. Being left out of the internet leaves one at a severe disadvantage.
Even though Shino is a very intelligent girl, she doesn’t know how to use a computer. This scene sort of made me laugh because I have to go through the frustration of teaching my father how to use a computer and he still doesn’t know how to use it well along with other technologies like the GPS. We know its common that the old folks won’t know how to use technology. On the other hand, I am glad that Shino got the hang of it rather quickly. So much that she made a page about Takatoshi liking perverted stuff and we know that he wasn’t amused one bit.
In Episode 6, we are shown some rather scary stories. However, they turned out to be folklore. Why? The whole student council investigated the issue and found out that one of the teacher were making those noises over a bishie magazine. Yeah, it was pretty lame and its pretty much what have to say about this episode.
Next Episode: As suggested at the end of the episode, the next episode is the beach episode filled with cute dolphins and such. Since its a beach episode, its going to elevate the chance of doing perverted things… We won’t know until I watch the episode, won’t I. :p
