K-ON!! Second Season – Episode 14 – Tsumugi’s Wish…

July 22, 2010 by Chikorita157 Leave a Comment
Oh no! Mugi is deflating into nothingness!

As the Summer Break heads to the very last days, Mugi is deprived of Mugivision and wants female to female contact. Ritsu decides to help by taking her out and try to fulfill Mugi’s wish of being smacked.

From all the characters besides Ui and Azusa, Tsumugi is one of the girls who stand out the most. She is a very kind girl from a wealthy family. Because of her high class, she doesn’t go to many of the places regular people go to. Ritsu takes Mugi to some of these places. This includes an arcade and a candy shop.

This is why they call her "Crane Crusher" Ritsu...

Back in the summer of 2004, our family went down to the Jersey Shore (Point Pleasant Beach to be exact) and played at numerous crane machines. My sister became really good at getting the stuff from the crane machines. As a result, we have a lot of these stuff animals and toys lying around the house. Of course, arcades like to rig these crane machines so it would be difficult for a person to get the prize.

Besides from the Crane Machines that Ritsu won at, Mugi beats the arm wrestling machine rather easily on her first time. They also took pictures in the photo booth with Ritsu doing wacky things to the pictures as shown below…

I laughed at some of these photos they came up with.

They also explore a shop filled with low priced candy. It’s every child’s dream!

Like always, Mugi seems to be very excited at the "ordinary" candy shop.

Mugi also gets her first hand experience at eating candy. The way she tries to eat it was cute and funny.

However, the Arcade and the candy didn’t satisfied her enough. Mugi wants to be smacked because she is deprived of female to female contact. This is because she is a Yuri fangirl and the lack of this contact is depriving to Yuri fangirls. Mugi tries so hard to make Mio hit her. However, it didn’t work out since Mugi has a pure image… Even though she fails, she tries the following…

Unfortunately, it didn't work...

Even though Mugi didn’t dress properly and left the tag on the dress, she looked very pretty…

Meganekko Tsumugi is so moe~

Seriously, girls looks 10x better with glasses on! Besides the two things shown above, Mugi read correct test answers and placed a photo sticker with a pig nose on top of her ID photo. Neither of these actions resulted in Mio smacking Mugi. Next day, Ritsu tried a game that resulted in a flick on the forehead, but Ritsu ends up losing and getting the punishment instead of Mugi. Mugi, who was in despair took drastic action and stole Mio’s strawberry on her slice of cake.

My Strawberry! ;-;

Would you hate it when someone took the fruit that was on top of her cake? I would… Mio feels this way by crying. This incident allowed Yui to prove her theory. Yui believed that the person would be sad when the strawberry was taken away since the Strawberry on the cake is usually the highest and best part of the whole cake. In the end, Ritsu, not Mio is the one who grants Mugi’s wish and smacks her. It happened because  Mugi said that Ritsu would be a perfect guy… From the reactions I saw from them caused myself to die from laugher…

Unlike the last episode, this episode was enjoyable. Mugi’s pure image, personality and her quirks that make her a very enjoyable character. While I enjoy looking at Azusa and Ui, Mugi pretty much topped it off for me, thus allowing myself to enjoy this episode a lot…

Next Episode: School resumes and Sports Festival starts…

Verdict

8.8/10
