After Souta reluctantly crossdressed as “Kotori-chan” so Inami could keep working in the restaurant, Popura, the one that Souta likes now have a desire of wanting Souta to crossdress as a girl. You know that most males do not want to crossdress… They would not even do it for love? Also, in Episode 11, it becomes so tense that Yamada thought about this love triangle between Inami, Popura and Souta.
Popura obviously does this because he was dressed as the most ideal girl that is tall and well endowed. Sadly, it got shot down and he refuses. Popura goes so far and complain about him not wanting to dress up as a girl and being ignored. It makes me wonder, what ever happened to Popura? Did she lost the appeal or what?
Not to mention, it’s quite funny that fanart of Kotori sky rocketed after the airing of Episode 9. If s(he) looks good in it, why he doesn’t dress like a girl then? It looked good for Hideyoshi and Aoi-chan, why not Souta? :p
Some people as the years go by don’t change as much. Besides from the height and hairstyle, they remain the same… Yachiyo looked cute with those twin tails by the way. :p
In both Episode 10 and 11, we have more Inami development. After the big ordeal, you would have thought that her fear for men would be subsiding. The answer is no, it’s still going on to the point that Souta’s youngest sister found out about it. Of course, Inami covers it up and saying he loves being punched by her. Does that make Souta a masochist and Inami a Sadist? I laughed.
Inami may be the weakest character because of her over-cliched punching of men, but she is fighting it. As a result, the relationship between her and Souta is getting a bit warmer. Although Inami broke the claw, I guess it’s for the best so she gets used to normal relationship betweens a male and female. Even Kozue, Souta’s older and drunk sister helps Inami after the troublesome Yamada spilled the beans and told her that Inami was going out with Souta when they sleep over at Souta’s house. I laughed.
The second part of Working seems to be a lot better than the first 6 episodes. The content especially after Episode 9 is the most enjoyable because of the trap Souta. Working may not be the greatest comedy Anime of the season, but it’s a pretty good and enjoyable comedy that makes you laugh out of your seat.
Yes, let us lament the loss of the Magic Hand, but hopefully Takanashi was wise enough to have bought spares. 😛
And next week, Poplar! I enjoy the development of Inami and Takanashi’s relationship (she was actually holding the haft this time, instead of just the pincer!), our tiny heroine needs some love too.
They need to be made out of better material that is hard to break… but then again, if Inami can bring down a telephone poll, I don’t think any kind of metal can hold up against her super strength…
The next episode is going to be an interesting one considering how neglected Popura is right now. 😉
