While people are frustrating over watching 6 episodes of Endless Eight, I will just sum up Endless Eight as it would happen in the light novel. (Warning, contains solution spoilers)
Kyon: Oh man! I’m watching a baseball game and rooting for the losing team.
*phone rings*
Kyon no Imouto: Kyon-kun, Danwa~
Kyon: I know… *picks up phone*
Haruhi: You better meet up by the station by two! We are going to go swimming at the pool.
Kyon: Oh great… I’m going to be late as always…
*minutes later*
Haruhi: You’re Late…also, yets ride on bikes to go to the pool…
*The SOS brigade ride on top of the two bikes rode by Kyon and Koizumi and soon after arrives at the pool*
Haruhi: Gets go swimming! *takes Mikuru’s and Yuki’s wrist and drive into the pool*
Kyon: Stupid Haruhi… The sign said “No Diving”
*After having fun at the pool”
Haruhi: Here is a list of activities we going to do this summer… and don’t forget Mikuru’s goldfish scoping…
*since they don’t have Yukatas, Haruhi went shopping with Mikuru and Yuki for Yukatas while Koizumi and Kyon was waiting
Kyon: Why is this taking so long.
Haruhi: Don’t this look nice on Mikuru….
*then, they go to the festival… and Yuki buys a mask and Mikuru does her goldfish scouping… then the bon bon dance and fireworks*
Next day, Cicadas Hunting
Haruhi: Yay! I got the most Cicadas, but I’m releasing them back to the wild for their thanks.
*next, the part time summer job*
Kyon: I’m Exhausted…
Haruhi: We asked the shop keeper and we can keep the costume Mikuru was wearing… Feel free to wear it any time, Mikuru-chan… I give you permission to.
Kyon: For the next few days, Haruhi dragged us to stargaze, a baseball cage for batting, then fishing, watch real fireworks, bowling, and karaoke. We were exhausted at the end.
Haruhi: I guess we finish everything on the list… anything else… We will meet next week at the club room.
Kyon: The next day, I tried to do my homework, but there was too much so I gave up.
Next Day…
Kyon: Why do I have the feeling that this happened again…

Towards the end of the 2nd week:

Kyon: Yet’s do homework together tomorrow…
Tomorrow, the SOS Brigade did their homework together, thus the time loop was broken..
Really…
Wasn’t it that easy… WHY DO THEY NEED TO REPEAT IT 6+ times?!.. and yes, I copied it the second time… Deja vu?
