Another year went by so quickly. It has been yesterday since I wrote my 14th-anniversary post back in 2023. Today is Chikorita157’s Anime Blog’s 15th anniversary. Yes, my blog is basically a teenager now. It has gone a long way since I started the blog 15 years ago when I just started college.
With that, I will share my thoughts on the last year of blogging and plans for the future.

Believe it or not, today marks the 14th anniversary of Anime Blogging. It’s so long since I started my blog in 2009, during my first year of college. While my tastes in Anime have changed over the years, I primarily focus on schoolgirl slice of life and Yuri anime. Also, in 2011, I started my Japanese language studies.
As I head to my 15 years of blogging, which, believe it or not, has been that long, it’s time to focus on brief thoughts on my 14th year of blogging and plans for the future.

As expected, another year has flown by and here we are. Sure, my twelfth year of blogging faced a lot of difficulties with the lack of engagement in terms of comments. While it was frustrating, how did the thirteenth year of blogging fare? A lot better than expected and hoped.

It’s that time year again as this blog turns 12 years. Yes, I have been sharing my thoughts and reviewing anime and various Japanese media for that long. As expected, I thought 2020 would be a good year while improving on my blog. Yes, in areas of revamping the overall blog design and make efforts to improve engagement on my blog. Boy, I was wrong. With that, I will share my overall thoughts on my 12th year blogging.

Believe it or not, I have been so busy between the move, adjusting to my new place and new job that I forgot that my blog turned 11 years old (started February 17, 2009). This makes me wonder how long I have been doing this for. By now, a good amount of people who were blogging about anime back when I started in 2009 have pretty much moved on. With that, I would like to reflect on the last year of blogging and focus on the future.

As expected, I hoped that in 2019 things will finally turn around. As expected, I finally got my wish. Also, we will take a look back at the year in review. I know this is a bit early, but I still have two to three posts left before the year ends.

Ten years go by so quickly, but believe it or not, this blog is now 10 years old! Officially, I started this blog on February 17, 2009. Now that is a big milestone to become proud of since not too many anime blogs last this long. With that, it’s time to reflect on some things and what I have in store for the future.
