While Hinako almost fell into Ayame’s trap, Shiori came to save her. However, it of course not only revealed Shiori’s true form, but also revealed that Ayame leaked the truth about Shiori’s blood being in Hinako. It makes you wonder why Shiori suddenly starts avoiding Hinako.

From last time, Hinako found out the truth that Shiori had hidden from her. She finds out that Shiori possibly gave her own blood, and finds out that Youkai don’t eat things that have blood mixed with other Youkai’s blood. Does this mean that Hinako’s wish of being eaten by Shiori is now in jeopardy? Most likely.
Miko had lunch with Hinako. While she bought a strawberry-and-cream sandwich she wanted to give to Hinako to eat, she was spacing out. That is, until she stuffed the sandwich in Hinako’s mouth shortly after Hinako revealed what Ayame told. Yes, the fact that Shiori gave blood to her, but she doesn’t know when. She also mentioned how creepy Shiori’s true form is. That said, Miko isn’t sure whether Ayame is lying or whether Shiori is hiding something, but it’s clear that Hinako believes Ayame.

Eventually, after school, Hinako confronts Shiori, who has avoided her all day. When Hinako asked her about the blood thing, Shiori warned her that if she revealed the truth, Hinako might run away from her. Hinako eventually wants her to find out, and Shiori did, in fact, give her blood 10 years ago during that trip as a token of repayment for a deed. However, since that accident, the effects of Shiori’s blood came all at once and altered Hinako’s body. While this might be a factor in how Hinako miraculously healed, Shiori knew that mixing her blood with Hinako’s blood would make her taste bad.

In short, Hinako becomes distraught that not only her wish of being devoured by Shiori isn’t going to happen, but Shiori admits that she is the one who wants Hinako to live on. Hinako had thought it came from her parents until now. Now, she feels deceived by Shiori, as there is no escaping the struggles that she faces since that accident. I guess Shiori’s plans to make Hinako overcome this depression basically went out the window. Still, it makes you wonder what Shiori’s actual intentions are if she doesn’t intend to eat her at all. Maybe we will find some hints to why soon.

The next day, Hinako is absent from school. Miko wondered what had happened after she ran into Hinako, who walked away, all sad. After seeing Shiori at a stop, Miko transformed and threatened to finish Shiori if she didn’t get answers. She decides not to, but it’s funny how out of the blue, Shiori wants to go on a date with Miko. Miko acts all surprised.

As for the date, it’s funny to see them having a good old time before Miko gets annoyed about why she is going on a date with Shiori, of all people. After all, she hates Shiori’s guts. Shiori is like, Why did Miko think this outing was a date.

While talking about Shiori wanting to eat all the humans and animals at the zoo, Miko will, of course, say she will stop her. Shiori becomes envious of Miko’s connection to humans, while she is unable to do so. While she mentioned the attempt to connect with one a long time ago, there was a child she wanted to connect with. It only makes you think the blood offering to Hinako might be related to this? We’ll find out soon enough.
