Now that Nana pushed out her manuscripts, bonus chapters, and the first volume cover thanks to Mizuki’s help, she is still swamped. Thankfully, she finds out that she can get some help.

Apparently, Mizuki finished her backgrounds for chapter 6 as the doorbell rang. Yep, Nana forgot to put the delivery box in front of the door. She doesn’t want to face the delivery person. While Mizuki offered to get the food, Nana did. It went as you would expect as she is very nervous although the lady seems nice. Nana becomes anxious if the delivery lady calls her a strange nick name as a result.

While the cover of the first volume came out well, Nana still have a lot of work to do. She feels swamped. Thankfully, after meeting Kaede and somehow, Mizuki tagged along. After all, she is the one that suggested her to get an assistant since there is a lot of great talent out there. Thankfully, Kaede after consulting with Nana and Mizuki, she has someone in mind. It’s someone that works remotely and require digital communication.

After looking at the assistant’s profile, who has a cat picture of a cat, it worked out in the end. Sure, Nana seems a bit anxious at first, but she became comfortable working with this person after the assistant did the work what Nana wanted, including a background of a shogi hall. Yep, it’s working out well.

The funny thing is that we learn more about Nana working as an assistant for Takizawa, who worked on a popular manga, Kimi Cho. The funny thing she is a big smoker with a big bucket next to her for cigarette butts. The funny thing is that she calls Nana a goody-two-shoes. While Nana thought it was a complement, it was actually an insult. It seems as if Takizawa wants Nana to quit so she can do her own thing. But despite her initial delinquent lady looks, Nana said she was nice as she thought her all the basics to start her serialization. Believe it or not, Takizawa let Nana go when she got her own serialization. I guess we really wants Nana to work on her own thing rather than stay an assistant forever.

In the second half, we see a young lady, Toko riding on the train. She is apparently heading to a Shogi association. Basically, we see Nana dressed in a casual outfit as she meets Kaede to take pictures of people playing Shogi. Yes, it’s about getting ideas for Nana in the upcoming chapter that involves a lady.

Basically, Toko came to help Nana give her some ideas for the 6th chapter. At least we see her give a nice promo she gave on stream. Since Toko played 8 Sougi games at the same time, it’s apparent that she was the basis of the lady who has an obsession over Shogi and keeps chasing Subaru despite being deperate. Interestingly, Nana gave what she wanted for the female character. When Nana is done, Kaede tried to take her and Toko out for dinner, but Nana decides to leave. Of course, Nana regrets it after she got home as it felt disrespectful towards Toko. Even so, while Toko doesn’t know much about manga, but she is happy to work with Nana as she thinks of her as a genius to Kaede.
