Last time, Mai went too far in showing her affection to Renako, and she became uncomfortable, so she slapped her. With that, Renako kind of regrets lashing out at her like that.

As Renako seems down for what she did by slapping Mai, Haruna finally came into the room. Yes, she seems surprised that her older sister is in a relationship with Mai and never thought her older sister would fall in love with another girl. I find it amusing how she gets excited that another sister will have a sister-in-law.
With that, Renako feels down, and she can’t stop thinking about Mai and making up with her. Mai never showed up to school, as she wondered how to face her and if she could be friends with her like she usually was.

The funny thing is that Satsuki finally calls for Renako to talk with her about Mai at the usual spot. Satsuki said it with a dark aura. The funny thing is that she has a key since she copied it. Satsuki, having to put up with Mai’s antics, is mad at Renako. Mai became upset and recounted what had happened in their relationship up to that point while crying. Satsuki is not happy since she couldn’t sleep, having to put up with Mai.

The reason Satsuki seems upset with Renako is that Mai said she hurt Renako. Satsuki wonders why Mai decided to fall in love with an average girl like Renako. Of course, Satsuki doesn’t seem to care about the reason why Mai loves Renako, but Renako hurting Mai is what she has a problem with. She told Renako that if she is not serious about her love for Mai and hurts her, this is what makes her angry. Yep, because she has to deal with Mai’s love drama and her venting.

Somehow, Renako realizes that she and Satsuki are not that far apart as she apologizes for hurting Mai and wants to make up to her. Renako wants to know Mai’s whereabouts so she can make up with her. The amusing thing is that Satsuki thinks Renako has changed and is like Mai, pursuing what she wants. Yep, Satsuki revealed that Mai tried to get affection from Satsuki, asking her to hold her and thinks that she is in love with Mai. Satsuki kicked her out as a result.

With that, with Renako planning to bring her back, she returned to the classroom. Somehow, Ajisai wants Renako to come over to her home. Of course, Renako can’t turn her down as she is afraid of losing her. The funny thing is that Renako ends up confessing to Ajisai, and somehow, Ajisai admits that she likes Renako too. It’s interesting how it almost ended up in a kiss, as Ajisaisai was expecting one.

After she revealed that Kaho had received an invitation to a suitor’s event that Mai was throwing, she went to that club. All the students Mai confessed to were there along with Kaho. I find it funny how Kaho knows that Renako has a crush on Mai. That is, after Renako convinces her that being single would be better for Mai than being in a relationship with someone else.

With that, Renako comes to the pool wearing a swimsuit this time. Yes, Mai seems surprised as she blames herself for what she did, and by throwing a suitor’s party, she hopes to make up for her mistake.
Renako just wants to apologize for slapping her and have Mai give up on the sutior’s party. After all, Renako believes that Mai should only date someone she likes. Still, Mai is like, the whole challenge thing with lovers and friends didn’t work out, and they should just be classmates.

Of course, Renako doesn’t want that, as this means she will no longer be friends with Mai, let alone be lovers. After all, Renako doesn’t want Mai to give up on her. After all, she admits that she likes Mai ever since she kissed her in the bathtub and can’t stop thinking about her romantically. That said, the only reason she slapped her is that Mai essentially overstepped when Renako didn’t consent, as she was not ready at that time. Yep, Mai realized that she lost hope over this reason.

Either way, Renako knows that she can’t be as awesome as Mai, but she wants to be the best partner and friend to Mai as they were in the pool. Yep, it’s a nice moment as they kissed underwater and finally made up. That said, Mai called off the party and performed music as an apology to the audience.

When Renako visits Mai’s penthouse, Renako wants a middle ground between being best friends and being lovers. Of course, after all this, Mai is not giving up on the idea of making Renako her girlfriend. The question is, can she pull it off when she faces competition from Ajisai? We’ll see how this plays out, but at least Mai and Renako are back together.
(Also known as There’s No Freaking Way I’ll be Your Lover! Unless…)

The whole pool scene was legendary tier. Fantastic stuff!
I’m very intrigued to see what Satsuki and Kaho have in store for our heroine going forward.
Ah yea. I forgot to praise Haruna’s glorious reaction to Renako’s future prospects as Mai’s wife.
