After Ruri with Nagi found gold, Ruri finally visits the geology laboratory that Nagi works at. What Ruri sees besides Nagi showing off their work is a messy room and a busty glasses wearing young lady.

While Ruri is still in high school, she gets a glimse of what could be waiting for her if she decides to go to college. That said, she finally sees the paper that Nagi wrote on her discoveries. She notices that her name is there although she didn’t do much. Nagi put it there since she found the discovery.

Still, it makes her happy that her name is there, especially since Nagi managed to get it published. Funny how she becomes amazed by Nagi, before realizing how mess it is. There is until the glasses wearing lady, Imari came into the room carrying a bunch of books being happy to hear that they are cleaning the room. Well it’s interesting that she is also well endowed, probably a little less than Nagi herself.

The funny thing is that Imari pushes Nagi to clean up the laboratory. Of course, Nagi didn’t intend to, until her office chair hits the stack of books and they come crashing. With Ruri being motivated to clean the room in exchange of shiny stones, they tidy things up. That is besides Nagi taking a detour to create Bismuth crystals artifically.

Eventually, Ruri finds an old map and thinks it’s junk. Believe it or not, Imari take it out and compare it with newer maps. Apparently, the map contains locations of mines. Funny how Ruri gets excited when treasure is involved. However, she learns that holding historical records are useful as it can provide historical information that you can’t get anywhere else.

With that, they decide to check out one mine with Imari tagging along. Sure, she seems reluctant to go at first, but of course she changes her mind. It’s interesting to see them find some discoveries such as Ruri finding a rock that she can’t identify, until Nagi takes out a magnet and it sticks. It’s basically an iron ore with magnetite. Funny how Imari couldn’t what rock it was despite reading a lot of books.

They eventually discovered the mine they are looking for. Of course, they don’t go in, although Ruri seemed eager to do so since it may be too dangerous. Instead, Ruri looks in the pile of rocks that are in front of the mine. When Ruri asks about a stone, Imari wasn’t there. When Ruri looks for her, she fell in the hole and landed on her. It’s obvious part of a mine that caved in. Ruri asks about a crystal but Imari doesn’t know what it is. Funny how Nagi looks for them, and she landed in the same whole, now on top of Imari.

While they have to find their way out, they discover some stones that emmite light when the light turns off. After Nagi takes out the backlight, the crystal appears to look like space. They are in a mine that have a lot of fluorite crystals that emit light in various colors when shined on. It definitely makes for a pretty sight, which impresses. Of course, Imari seeing this for the first time, which is not too surprising since she only focused on the books.

Sure, they found a discovery as they take a sample back, it motivates Imari wanting to help research the fluorite ore vein. Nagi allows to do it in a pretty nice moment between the two. After all, Nagi encourages to do more as Imari can’t rely on someone else forever. That said, Nagi seems focused on another specimen that might have sapphire in it. We’ll probably find out more next time.
(Also known as Ruri Rocks)
This is my chill show of the season. It helps that the presentation is beautiful.
Ruri X Nagi are so meant to be it’s crazy. Hopefully they legit snuggle and ho beyond subtle acts of longing.
Imari’s debut was worth the wait. My desire for a beach episode grew this day.
