After Midori brought a meal back for Ayumu, who attempts to take pictures for a contest, yep, Midori sneaks out. That is after writing a note to pay her back. Of course, she finds out and hilarity ensues.

While Ayumu is fast asleep, I find it funny how Midori snuck out after writing an IOU note. The funny thing is that Midori was doing a back flip before yelling at the man who was in her way. Izumi took a photo of that and seemed amazed, although Midori ended up dropping her horse betting ticket.

Of course, Ayumu found out and chased after her into the university campus. Funny how Izumi witnessed the whole thing unfolding before walling down the stairs and into the pond. She introduces herself to Ayumi as someone who lives in the same apartment. The amusing thing is that Ayumu discovers that Izumi is the one who took the winning photo. She asks to become her apprentice. She accepts, but has no tips, until Midori shows up.

Izumi seems happy to meet Midori as she asks to take a photo of her. I find it amusing how Midori inquires about the money and is willing to pose as Izumi’s photo subject. It’s funny how Izumi said she donated all her winnings, which makes Midori upset. Of course, Izumi takes pictures of Midori’s reactions when Midori wants her to stop. They got into a photo-taking match, and obviously, Izumi had a lot of fun. It’s amusing how Izumi shows off the horse betting ticket she found, and Midori is not happy at all. At least Ayamu knows what photos to take.

Additionally, we see a flashback of Ayumu during her first year of high school. She seems amazed by Midori’s athleticism. Seeing her allowed her to become less depressed as she watched her every day. Of course, she captured every moment of it. Of course, it didn’t last, as Midori eventually ended up attending another school. With that, she plans to give the camera she has to Midori. Funny how, when she went to the restaurant Midori works at, she freaked out when the owner deflated.

We also have a segment with Matsuri and Ecchan. They went to a temple to play god. The funny thing is that a policeman came to make a wish. There was no way they could do the right thing with him, so they gave up before heading home. The thing is, Ecchan’s mother reminded Ecchan that they are moving and asked if she had told Matsuri yet. Of course, she didn’t, which probably won’t end well.
Aside from that, it’s nice to see the trio come together and will be a fun one, like the other trio from Nichijou. The mangaka segment is, to be honest, not particularly interesting. The two high school girls are a bit amusing, although I wonder how much longer they will be together, considering that Ecchan is moving.
