After Haruno went on her dry-cured ham spree and got the ghost exorcised from herself, she has another idea. She with Satsuki, An, and Shikishima look for round stone monuments for a contest as another idea for her manga.

At the beginning of the episode, it already shows what we in for. Yep, it’s about those Maruishi Dosojin or Maruishi Gami, a sphere like stone sculpture that is all over Yamanashi. They apparently share the same origins as the spherical stones in Costa Rica. I find it funny how Shikishima think they are save points that feudal warlords use by Shingen Takeda. That last part is made up of course.
Apparently, there is a contest to take the roundest Maruishi Dosojin stone to win a trip to Costa Rica. However, the girls have trouble finding where to start although they have seen them around town.
Funny how the girls resort to looking them on their phones as Haruno doesn’t want to go into the hot weather. It seems harder than it seems as there are limitations in relying on street view. Also, not all of them are perfectly round. Shikishima and Satsuki found them, but An has trouble as she finds spherical items, but they aren’t a sphere stone sculpture.

Eventually, An gets stumped, until she used a cucumber to tease Taishou since cats are apparent scared of them. When she used it to torment Taishou, it basically pushed it away, which hits An. An remembers there was a sphere sculpture near the restaurant they ate at during that Full Course Photo Rally. Yep, getting hit by a cucumber allowed her remember the time they gained weight as a result of trying to win a contest.

With that, the girls basically went around town to take pictures of Maruishi Dosojin. They of course took a lot of pictures of them as there are many of them. They even took photos from the car, which is perhaps the easiest one, although they have to go out the car to take some. Haruno really struggled walking in the heat. Apparently, the roundest one is at a museum site.

The funny thing is the last one they decided to take was not one of those stones, but a healing stone. Funny how Haruno gets upset that it’s not the stone they are looking for as she decides to tough it. Yep, it burned her hand. The funny thing, there was a Maruishi Dosojin behind her home/shop and she took it. In the end, they end up coming in second and the prize is a Maruishi Dosojin stone sculpture. It’s funny to see the reactions when

In the second half Haruno is up on a deadline and she started having cravings for curry. The funny thing is that she starts drawing plates of curry, which is quite funny. She tries to go to her favorite curry shop to have chicken curry with Kako and An. The funny thing is that they are closed because owners went on vacation.

Haruno is not giving up. Kako started recording the adventurer as Haruno went to another shop nearby that is also closed. Then she goes to a restaurant near a hotsprings. Of course, they went to the springs first before going to the stall that sells it, but was sold out. She then goes to a restaurant that is in Nagano and took a shortcut. Yep, it’s funny to see Kako and An deal with the nauseating ride going through winding roads that also involved unpaved road to get there. In the end, there was a mushroom event happening at that restaurant and they only sold mushroom dishes. Yep, Haruno becomes upset and went and curse out those mushrooms.

In the end, Haruno settled for convivence store curry. It makes you wonder, why go out the way to eat curry. I guess she wants to procrastinate on her manga work as she misses her deadline. I figured she would.
