Last time, Glen saw through Alina’s identity as he challenged her. Is her receptionist career over, as she has to fight to protect it?
From last time, Glen saw what happened using his skill to see what Alina did at the Iffole. He discovered that Alina was the Executioner, although she had protected the Iffole. Sigurth wants to see Alina’s abilities. If he wins, she has to join Silver Sword. If she wins, the guild will leave Alina alone and guarantee her job.
Unsurprising enough, Alina, with her hammer, manages to break through Glen’s Sigurth Chronos. She manages to get into the space where he observes everything. In other words, Alina won. He only challenges her to see Alina’s strengths. In other words, Alina has a Dia skill as she can break through Glen’s Sigurth Chronos.
Of course, Alina wants to return to her job as Glen tries to convince her to do the Chalk Tower quest from the relic. As expected, Alina gets upset as this will mean more overtime work, and obviously, Glen is trying to convince Alina to help Silver Sword do the quest so she doesn’t have to do overtime. Aliana seems upset by this. Yep, they tried to sweeten the deal by saying that if she finishes the quest with Silver Sword, she can have more workers, so she doesn’t have to do overtime.
In other words, after some thought, she decided to help. After all, she imagines herself having tea with other coworkers. Of course, while doing the quest, she complained about having to use paid time off. It’s funny how Jade seems insensitive over not knowing what PTO is. If you work, paid time off is earned that you can use to take off from work and still get paid. I guess it’s because he never worked for someone and doesn’t know what it is. At least Alina scolded him nicely.
Alina defeats the first boss on the first floor of the Chalk Tower. It’s not too surprising, but it makes everyone else pretty useless. It’s funny how Lululee is the only one who gets excited, while Jade and Lowe are useless. After all, why are they even there when Alina can probably clear a dungeon like a cakewalk? It’s funny how Alina treats Lululee as a child, although being older than Alina.
On the second floor, they discover some dead bodies and a wounded adventurer. As expected, it reminded her of an unpleasant memory. Alina eventually defeats the monster that killed the adventurers. Of course, the wounded adventurer, Rufus, thinks that Alina is the same as the monster in the dungeon.
After Jade tells Glen what happened, Rufus threatens to tell everyone in town that the Executioner is a monster unless Jade kicks her off the team. Rufus is after the relic that might grant a Dia skill. Ultimately, Jade tells Alina she doesn’t have to accompany them, and his team will handle it while upholding Alina’s side of the bargain. You would think she would be happy with this, but she becomes worried.
We see a flashback of a role model adventurer, Shroud, entering the dungeon. Of course, as a child, Alina wants to become an adventurer. After making a promise to him, she finds out later that he got killed in the dungeon. Alina had a bad feeling that it might happen to Jade, although Alina didn’t like him. She is worried the same happen, but at least she got the stone to indicate when they are in trouble.
Eventually, Jade’s team got to the last floor, where the dark god Silha was. He is going to wipe out Jade’s team. As expected, Rufus tries to put a cage around Jade, Lululee, and Lowe to defeat the god for the power of Dia. As expected, Silha kills him by stabbing him. Well, at least he got what he deserved since he was a jerk. Still, Jade and his teammates are in trouble. Will Alina come and rescue them? Well, it looks pretty likely.

@chikorita157 So much cliffhanger, far too much cliffhanger.
Still like the show 🙂
Yep, it’s obvious what will happen next, but should be interesting if the dark god goes down or not.
@chikorita157 Those three, or at least the one, has a lot of plot armor. But I wonder how they get the MC over to them.
