After Nana is given the chance to be featured in the magazine her series is serialized in, and after meeting her former coworker, she causes a big deal in the morning. It becomes obvious, which leads her to take in a fluffy friend.
As Arisa was sound asleep, Nana let out a scream. It becomes evident as a scale is involved. Nana apparently gained too much weight thanks to some midnight snacking with Arisa early in the morning. Mizuki, of course, went to the bathroom to see what was wrong with Nana.

The next morning, Nana decides to make an effort to lose the weight. Of course, Mizuki wants Arisa to join Nana in the exercises and tells them to take it easy at first. Funny how Arisa doesn’t seem to care about her weight now that she’s unemployed. It’s not like she has another upcoming series on the horizon, right?

As expected, only Nana and Mizuki went for a walk until they found an abandoned Shiba Inu pup in a box. Like Kaoruko with the stray cat she takes in, Nana decides to take in the dog. It only took 9 episodes to finally get the dog she is walking in the ending credits.

Touko, Asakura, and Arisa are especially lapping this dog up, too. Funny how Nana gets upset when Arisa wants to name the dog Doburoku. Nana wants to decide on the name, but what will it be?
Of course, Kaede brought reference materials for a chapter Nana is working on. She also has a book about dogs in the bag, which Nana eventually notices. With that, she came up with a lot of good ideas as she came up with the whole chapter, despite being a few pages over. Still, it’s nice that Kaede seems okay with Nana going a few pages over. Arisa starts crying as she is not only unemployed, but also believed to have no fans. Arisa feels she met Asakura somewhere before.

The funny thing is, when Arisa came back to her apartment, she found a fan letter. She eventually shows it to Nana, and it’s from a female reader. Apparently, the reader enjoyed Arisa’s work because it cheered her up when the job was tough. She is obviously saddened by the series cancellation, but looks forward to her next series. Arisa is happy she got a fan letter, even though her series was cancelled. When she saw a handmade good-luck charm in the envelope, she became overly emotional. She eventually decides to write back, as apparently, she got someone to work on a new series with, and it’s with Asakura of all people.

Besides that, Kaede forces Nana into another interview. However, it eventually leads Nana to recall the time when Kaede broke the news that Nana’s series was being serialized. The funny thing is, Nana gets upset that Kaede didn’t mention she has a serialization when she tells Nana she needs to get the first two chapters out. Nana has to write up the interview, and of course, she is not having a good time.

That said, what did Nana eventually name the dog? Takara. Arisa obviously got upset that Nana didn’t name the dog, Doburoku. Despite not being able to choose the dog’s name, Arisa is happy to walk the dog. Also, Nana and Mizuki tagged along, so at least they have a motivating factor to do regular exercise.

@chikorita157 Keeps being a good feel good show. Happy that they are neither lying about the industry (it’s a tough one) nor romanticizing it (workaholism is a disease and shouldn’t be exploited).
And I finally got to see the dog arrive in. Was wondering when that would happen 🙂
