After Ruri, Nagi, Imari and Shoko managed to find Zincite in an unlikely place after water testing. Now, Ruri is looking for opal, but she is having trouble finding it. That is, until a typhoon came through.

At the beginning of the episode, Nagi and Ruri are looking for opal. While they went to a deposit where they were supposed to be, it was already empty. Nagi believes that they got cleared out 20 years ago, so there is no chance for Ruri to find any. Of course, Nagi will say it’s good to study the area after locating it.
The next evening, Ruri and Shoko worked on their report. The funny thing is that Shoko was doing all the work while Ruri was sleeping. Funny how Ruri dreams about being in a pile of Opals that she found, like she hit the jackpot. Sadly, a loud siren sounded as the dam reached capacity and was about to release, as a typhoon approached. The library closed as a result. They called it for today as Shoko really wanted to go with Ruri, but couldn’t, but wants to join someday. Ruri promises to go pacer gold hunting with Shoko when the weather clears up.

When they got to the spot, they saw a vending machine washed ashore. Funny how Shoko finds anything besides hold. It’s peculiar how Ruri gets fooled by pyrite again, instead of gold, and throws the pan, saying she made a mistake. Ruri eventually seems puzzled that she found other minerals besides gold this time.
With that, they decide to consult with Imari and Nagi. The funny thing is, when they arrived at the building where the lab is located, they got caught in a heavy rainstorm and became thoroughly wet. Apparently, Nagi and Imari got soaked too, but the amusing thing is that Nagi is still wearing the same clothes as if nothing had happened.

Believe it or not, she has multiples of the same outfit, which gets Imari upset. After all, Imari thinks that Nagi has a lovely figure that she is wasting. I find it funny how Imari takes out a whole rack of outfits for Nagi to try out. Of course, Nagi will look good in any outfit Imari picked out. Yes, Imari even took out the maid outfit, which of course looks the best for obvious reasons. Nagi doesn’t mind working in it and even decides to go to lunch with Ruri, Shoko, and Imari wearing it.

Of course, Nagi had a hairpiece with an opal in it. Ruri seems amazed by it, but knows that she can’t find it. Still, it’s nice to see Nagi wear something else besides her usual outfit. Even Shoko seems curious about the outfits, so she checked them out. That is, until Ruri walked in and wondered why Shoko was still in the lab. That is, after Ruri and Shoko tell Nagi and Imari about the new minerals they found following the rainstorm.

Nagi, Ruri, Imari and Shoko checked the area to see if they could find minerals exposed from the storm. Ruri found opal somewhere, and they eventually discovered fallen trees from a nearby landslide. Of course, they only found pyrites and other rocks, and no opals. They, of course, went to a dam to see the sight before going to the bottom. Nagi found one easily, meaning they could be nearby. However, they haven’t had luck until Ruri eventually hit the jackpot. There were many in one area. Given their weight, they probably came from the discharge, as they are light, thus they flowed out like that.

Of course, Ruri wanted to take all of them, but of course, she can’t. At least she got as many as she wanted, as Shoko brought back many. Also, it’s nice to see a little girl find an Opal that she had found in the river, which Ruri had spotted from the window of the car. It really shows how far they can be found after the dam discharge.
