After Haruno goes to take pictures of round stones with Satsuki, An, and Shikishima, she is on a call with Kurokuma and Suzuko that her manga is getting an anime adaptation. Of course, they go on their version of activities that involve eating.
At least Suzu, a mangaka who works under the same editor as Haruno and Kurokuma, received an anime adaptation. While Suzuko Yes, like Kurokuma, Suzu’s work involves a salaryman returning to his hometown to take over his dead father’s farm. He learns the plot of land is haunted by a spirit, which is why his father died. Funny how Haruno gets scared after Kurokuma mentions the stuff that freaks her out after Suzuko says none of her works have gore.

Like Kurokuma’s horror story, which involves a dog, Kurokuma seems concerned about Suzuko since her work also requires horror. The funny thing is that Kurokuma manga is based on haunted places and magical items affecting the studio and voice acting staff. I find it amusing how one production staff got into 7 minor car crashes before Kurokuma placed plasma air filters to drive the spirits away. That is, after all the exorcism work to help

The funny thing about Kurokuma turning her anime adaption into a film instead is its effect on her after implementing the preventative measures. The spirits eventually broke her computer, and she lost data. Therefore, she bought a new one, which spirits couldn’t go in and destroyed her IT equipment. The only work that she lost was a few new pages she was working on.

While Suzuko had writer’s block, she found a way to overcome it. It involves fighting against the haters online, which is quite funny. Haruno would rather have her find another method. That is when Haruno discovers the Minobu Donburi Walk event.

Believe it or not, it’s the same idea as the photo eating challenge Satsuki, An, and Shikishima did, but with smaller quantities. Kurokuma joins in as well. The funny thing is that they run into the editor they work under, Shimada Koharu. She loves to eat and participates in the walk, too. The walk involves eating those mini donburi bowls and collecting stamps at various places. After collecting 6 stamps, they go up a hill for a prize.

Surprisingly, Koharu already got 4 stamps, meaning she is way ahead. She had a dish after having two more mini bowls with Haruno, Suzuko, and Kurokuma. We learn that, of course, Kurokuma is not good sansho pepper. She didn’t react well to it, as it caused the spirits she hired to do her drawing work to disappear. She had to drink milk to get rid of the pepper taste. Yep, she won’t make it to the next deadline. That said, the small bowls of various donburi are cute, although there is one that is just a plate.

The funny thing is that Koharu is a big eater, and she seems to eat the most. She even had a large bowl of soybeans towards the end of the walk. Now, they must walk up a big hill to collect their prize. It’s funny how Kurokuma collapsed twice after being tired, and Haruno must help her after scanning QR codes. They receive the perfect bowl for a donburi dish.

The funny thing is that Haruno feels sick and is about to throw up in the bowl, and Koharu must stop her. Koharu, of course, wants to stop by the cafeteria to get tofu skin curry. When they were about to return, Koharu strained her back while stretching. Someone had to bring a truck to take her to the hospital, and Kurokuma tagged along with her. Suzuko and Haruno head back together. Then again, back problems are what you get when you get older or when you need to exercise more. At least they got off easy compared to Satsuki, An, and Shikishima, having to lose the weight gained from that Full Course Photo Rally.
