While working for three years as a receptionist, Alina wants to attend a new employee training. You might want to know why. She wants to learn the secret of conquering overtime from a famous receptionist who will train them.
As expected, Alina hammers her way to the boss’s floor to defeat the spider boss. You might guess why. Yep, she got tired of the overtime since the adventurers can’t the bosses. She doesn’t want the adventurer’s inability to defeat the boss. This time, she doesn’t want to miss the training session despite being on the job for three years.

Alina, before this, has a meeting with the manager to discuss ways to reduce overtime. Will her dream of Alina getting more staff to deal with the extra work become a reality? It’s a training session that sinks Alina’s dream of having a birthday and doing nothing but sleep, relax, and eat. Sounds like what I do on my birthday these days. On the way back, Alina discovers Silver Sword will play a part in the training. Believe it or not, Jade decides to improve on his image. After all, Alina will punish him if he goes out of line.

Eventually, the first day of training started. While a teacher shows them around the guild site, Alina talks to Glen. Glen thanks Alina for dealing with the dark goddesses without any injuries. Alina eventually mentions the extra workers she was promised but never got. She wasn’t happy, as she remembered, and he tried to dodge it. It doesn’t go well, but will he hold up his end of the bargain after Alina reminds her? Of course, when Glen hopes to depend on Alina next time.

When it comes to Silver Sword, the receptionist gushes over Jade. Still, it’s funny how Alina doesn’t show any interest in him as she glares at him. Surprisingly, he didn’t do anything silly. When it comes to the mansion they are supposed to stay in, it looks haunted. It’s funny how Lululee was in the same room as Alina and Laila. Lululee is scared as she believes ghosts of deceased adventurers haunt the mansion. The funny thing is seeing Lululee’s and Laila’s reactions to what Alina plans to do on her birthday. The funny thing is that while Laila obsesses over the Executioner, Lululee and Alina know that Laila doesn’t know the Executioner is Alina. Alina and Lululee decide not to reveal the truth.

The next day is the lecturers. Alina finally asks the teacher how to avoid overtime. Well, Alina finally gets her answer to dealing with overtime. The teacher happily works 100 hours of overtime per month, and imagining how happy the customers they serve will be and thinking about them all the time is the way to deal with overtime. She has the mentality of certain billionaires and says, Screw work and life balance, just work harder.

As expected, Alina feels deprecated as she realizes there is no way out of overtime except hiring more workers. After all, it would cost more since the guild has to pay more benefits? On the other hand, it would increase efficiency and provide better service. Alina learns the dark side: some receptionists are just workaholics and don’t care about their well-being and work-life balance. At least Alina has the ghost to deal with next time during the training.
