With Renge deciding to take things into her own hands and face off the strong Wild Hunt herself, her friends wonder where she went.
From the last time, Renge sees she is the only one who hasn’t reunited with anyone. Now, Hinageshi, Sanzaka, Erika and Ayame are finding out that Renge is missing, and they blame themselves. With that, they decide to go out and find Renge as she hides in the rain.
Renge hides as she feels lonely and does not know whether or not it’s okay. When Renge eats the rice ball, she wonders where she should go next, as Renge knows the place and has those memories. Eventually, she went to where Shitoran went, and a group of girls discovered her. Renge becomes shocked as Suzuran discovers that Renge looks like her older sister while recognizing all the personality traits.
While Suzu is happy to see Renge, she mentions something about her older sister. Suzu mentioned that she died. Her older sister died while protecting Renge and the survivors from the Mighty Hunt. Suzu ended up burying her after her older sister’s death. This death, of course, causes Renge to question herself as she doesn’t know who she is. Is she Suzu’s older sister or an imposter?
Still, as the Major Hunt approaches, Renge faces it head-on, although she manages to land a hit. However, it came short of defeating it as she was almost on the verge of getting killed by Major Hunt. That is until the rest of her friends, Hinageshi, Sanzaka, Erika, and Ayame, came to help drive off the Major Hunt. Although they didn’t defeat it, at least they drove it away
While Renge is happy that everyone is safe, Ayame said she is glad that Renge is safe. After all, they were worried about her after she disappeared. It’s good that they apologized for not realizing how Renge felt, although she was left alone. After they say they are in it together, Renge finally shares how she feels. Renge doesn’t know who she is or even if she is human. She also mentions seeing memories of being with Yuri that she doesn’t know anything about. She also mentions the accounts Suzu said to her about her older sister before revealing her wound healing. While Renge doesn’t know what she is, her friends comfort her with a hug. As expected, she admits that eating food with her friends makes things taste better.
