Now that Alina has agreed to allow Jade to help her with the paperwork, they seek out the source of the rumors.
Now that Alina is determined to go to that festival, they disguise themselves as average adventurers while swapping roles. Yep, they want to make it less noticeable to the perpetrators. Of course, they camped at a lake where the rumor originated.
As Alina gets a bit hot in the healer outfit, it’s obvious what Jade thinks. He thinks that Alina wants to have fun in the lake, but funny enough, Lululee breaks out of the swimsuit and plays in the water with Lowe. The funny thing is Jade imagines Alina wearing a swimsuit, which, of course, Alina gives him a throwdown for being a pervert. He deserved it.
Eventually, that party led by Heitz came, and Alina and her party threatened them. Alina took out her hammer to beat them down, but apparently, most of them escaped except one, who had a missing arm and eye. His name is Aiden. He, of course, accuses Lululee of being a murderer because she abandoned her teammates. That is while admitting he is spreading the rumor or saying it as truth. Thankfully, Alina gives him the hammer.
We find out later why Aiden called Lululee a murderer. We learn the reason why. Since Lululee just got her healing powers and limited magic, she could only heal one party member. She tried to split the healing, but both party members eventually died. Given her inexperience and the challenging situation of having to pick who to save, I can’t blame her.
Eventually, Alina and Liala work on the influx of paper. Of course, Liala wonders why Jade is there and thinks Alina will marry him. Of course, Alina seems uninterested as she only cares about the little things in life, like having sweets after a hard day of work and staying up all night.
Eventually, Lululee and Lowe enter the arena, and Jade tries to activate two abilities simultaneously. Eventually, it took a toll, and he had to get nursed back to health. I can see why he wants to use two abilities to become more powerful.
As expected, he got Lululee very upset, and Shelley gave him a scolding. Yep, warning the consequences of overusing his powers to the limit. She, of course, shared some information about the orb Jade brought back. It contains more than one Dia skill three. Also, she revealed that the rumor came from the man in black behind a robe and mask. Another thing to investigate, well, yes.
Eventually, Alina finished her work and celebrated it with Jade with dinner and drinks. Of course, Jade got drunk. She mentioned Shroud, who is probably the adventurer who died during her childhood. Jade sees this as probably the world crashing over his crush on Alina, which isn’t going to become a reality. Either way, it should be interesting to see how the festival goes.

I have a thing about over powered characters that only makes use of it for specific reasons. Like getting out of overtime, or beating your opponent with a single punch.
