Fossa Magna seems to have had enough of Chrome’s incompetence. In other words, he got fired with a replacement villain that seems more evil than what Chrome can ever be. This, of course, disrupts the status quo, which makes Chizuko worried.
If Kaju had a backstory last time, we see how Chrome eventually became the evil mastermind. He is a loner and can’t figure out what to do in the future. Of course, a boy doesn’t like how Chrome sits in his usual spot on the swing and calls him a loser. He showed his plans to become an evil mastermind.
Of course, it gives Chrome the idea, although he doesn’t think they exist before the boy convinces him that they exist. Chrome wants to become one for different reasons, such as for attention, but he won’t become that boy’s subordinate. Still, I have a feeling who this kid is. The voice of the red-haired boy sounds like that talking cat. More on that later.
Now, we are in the present as Chrome discovers that he got fired from his organization and is being replaced. That is when Chizuko’s grandmother sees an armored man heading to Chizuko’s house. Chizuko finds out that Chrome got sacked from his position. Chizuko thinks it’s because Chrome is not evil enough.
Then again, it’s unsurprising, given how incompetent he is at his job. Chrome ran away as the new villain appeared at Chizuko’s house. His name is Hugh. He has evil plans as he doesn’t need Chizuko. Before he grabbed her, Chizuko ran away as Hugh took over a TV station and held a news anchor lady hostage. That is while he shares his new evil plans.
Chizuko eventually finds Chrome in a box, feeling down as he tries to run away. Despite his incompetence, he admits he is not a good evil mastermind but doesn’t want to give up his dream. Chizuko tells him to snap out of it as she wants him to stay the mastermind. Maybe it’s because the new one is a bit too evil.
Meanwhile, Kaju sees the news of the new mastermind and decides that she needs to defeat him. As expected, when she got to the TV station, she got tied up by Hugh’s magic. Seeing Hugh cutting Blossom’s speech angers Chizuko, and she won’t allow this. Of course, they can’t get into the TV station as evil beings are not allowed. Mashiro is there, too, all distraught. Of course, Chrome has a plan to get in.
Well, Chizuko has an excellent idea for making Chrome into a magical girl. Seeing him enter the studio dressed like a magical girl is quite fitting. As expected, Blossom is oblivious to the whole thing. She didn’t realize it was Chrome as she took her wand out. The funny thing is that Chrome threw the wand to Chizuko. The funny thing is that she can use magic to untie Berry Blossom. At last, that magic contract that Chrome forced her to sign to get out of that storage room was not a lie, as it came in handy.
The funny thing is that Chizuko is the real MVP here. While Hugh captures Chizuko with the wand, one of Chizuko’s classmates gets worried. Of course, Berry Blossom knows Chizuko as the girl who got held hostage by a robber in a convenience store. Chizuko eventually gets annoyed at Hugh as she channels her magic after she had enough of Hugh making fun of Berry Blossom. She manages to melt the chains and damage his gauntlet. Of course, Chrome steals Hugh’s phone and tattles on HQ that Hugh damaged his gauntlet. What happens next will shock everyone.
Apparently, Huge chased after Chrome as he captured him and threw him aside. The boss doesn’t like how Hugh damaged his weapon and decides to press that button that Sanctions him when Mashiro mentions it. As a punishment, Hugh gets turned into a big fish, and Chrome laughs at him. Yep, it’s not too surprising, given that an evil organization will do it if the person they choose does not live up to expectations.
The funny thing is that when Chizuko tells Chrome to mention Chizuko’s reason for saving Berry Blossom, He says something Chizuko disapproves of as she throws the wand to Blossom to punish Chrome. Thankfully, Chrome’s position finally got restored in the end. After all, Chizuko only wants Blossom to fight Chrome, who is easy to beat, not an evil mastermind who can overpower her.
Of course, if you can tell already, is Mashiro that boy from Chrome’s childhood? He is since Mashiro has the same voice and has the dream of becoming an evil mastermind. Yes, he got sanctioned and turned into a cat. It can explain why he is recruiting magical girls to fight against the current mastermind of Fossa Magna, whom he doesn’t get along with even during his childhood. It all makes sense, but at least we know that Chizuko’s magical powers aren’t a lie. The question is, will she get a magical girl transformation and use one of those wands in the same purple color? We have to wait and see.
@chikorita157 Now we know her magic works, but it’s kind of interesting that there seems to be a connection to the wand.
I wonder if there will be a very quirky and silly reveal at the end. To do with the big evil corp and the little cat like sidekick 🙂
Keeps being a fun show, and it has some interesting designs. Like the eyes of some characters are quite interesting.
