At last, we see more collaborations as Shion holds a skit contest with her “children,” and Eirai plays a horror game with Shuwa, which brings out her secret side.
As expected, Mother Shion finally gets her collab stream as she holds a skit contest. It’s not too surprising to see Shuwa paired up with Sei. What is surprising is that Alice gets along with Hikari despite competing for Awayuki’s affection. Lastly, there is Nekoma with Kaeru.
With Shuwa’s and Sei’s, it’s what you expect. They did a skit with Sei, who worked at a convenience store, and Shuwa wanted to buy some items. While Shuwa purchased many food items, including Strong Zero, it’s funny how Sei mentions they sell adult movies. It’s weird how Shuwa asks about “adult” versions of some Marvel movies like Spiderman and Iron Man, but not Avengers. It’s funny that they mentioned it as the House of Mouse won’t be happy. Of course, Sei also mentions she has lotion in stock and, of course, stockings.
As for the second skit, Hikari faces off against Alice, the “Demon King.” After all, Hikari has to avenge her comrades. The funny thing is that Alice becomes sad that the princess died too in the fight to take down the Demon King. The funny thing is that the skit is already over before Hikari can attack Alice, and Shion is disappointed as she wants to see more.
We have Nekoma and Kaeru, which is a strange pairing, but it makes sense. Nekoma is a reversal pair to Kaeru to prevent Kaeru from regressing further by having opposite tastes of ordinary humans and their skit of the apology video. While at the surface, they don’t have anything to apologize for, we know what it’s all about. Nekoma brings up Kaeru pretending to be a young child. Of course, Kaeru turns the tables on Nekoma, accusing her of playing a baseball game with Awayuki, Alice, and Hikari, which is the crappiest in history. Before she can finish it, the mods end it off there. I find Kaeru’s “Objection” quite hilarious.
Awayuki keeps the last of the collabs in the second half for later as she does one with Eirai, our favorite elf-lady who enjoys sharing too much information about animals. Shuwa forces Eirai to play a horror game called after failing to answer questions about her weight as punishment.
As a result, Shuwa decided to force Eirai to play a famous RPG Maker game, Ao Oni, which, of course, many people live-streamed in the past. Of course, Eirai can’t handle horror games and seeing her reactions is funny. She got several Game Overs trying to confront the blue demon.
Eventually, she gets cornered and decides to save her sword and fight it. We see a different side of her that is quite hot-blooded. Seeing Shuwa’s reaction after she saw Eirai show her other side was priceless. After all, it’s the same thing that could have ruined her career as she feels down. She only acts like this when she is into something. Thankfully, she doesn’t let that ruin her and accepts it as part of herself, as Awayuki did. No wonder why she doesn’t want to play horror games.
Thankfully, after some more game-overs, she beat the game after nearly an hour of gameplay. The funny thing is that Shuwa mentions that “DonEirai” trended, and there is a clip of her making a scream that sounded like a beaver when she ran into the Blue Demon. When it first happened, she threatened whoever did it with a visit to the family HQ. Sadly, it seems that someone already did it.
Not much to say about this episode. Kokorone and Sei’s skit was obviously the best so it was no surprise they won the contest.
VTubers playing horror games is a staple of the medium and this one didn’t disappoint. Our maidenly zoologist being a gangster deep down is amusing.
It’s not too surprising given that Sei proposed to Awayuki and Shion of course has a bias towards this.
Yes, it was amusing to see Eirai play and react to a horror game, especially that scream. Seeing that she has an alternate personality was interesting and amusing.
