Now that it’s the New Year, spring is finally coming, and Torako has completely forgotten about the Sports Festival. However, it goes how you expect, chaos!
We have another time skip as Torako relaxes in the Deer Clubhouse with Anko, Meme, and Torako. Anko, of course, reminds Torako of Sports Day. As expected, the student council and other students panicked over issues with preparations. Yep, problems range from missing batons, broken admission gates, ripped bibs, and corrupted schedule data, among other things.
As you would expect, Torako panics, wondering what she will do. It’s funny how Nokotan thinks Torako is like a grade school student who puts off her homework. Thankfully, she regains her composure as she asks for help.
Thankfully, Torako, with everyone’s help, managed to get everything set up for the Sports Festival. As expected, Anko commented while Meme focused on her rice plants. That said, the events are deer-themed.
Of course, Nokotan takes all the attention as people take pictures of her. Thus, Torako gets annoyed over delayed events. Also, the events are deer-themed. Instead of the pan-eating race, it’s the deer sanbei/antler-eating race. The funny thing is that Chiharu’s older brother faced off against a deer, an old lady, a lady, and a fat man. The funny thing was that the old lady knocked everyone to the finish line like she had a Rainbow Star from Mario Kart doing the Naruto run. She probably got the RGB one. Still, it’s just so random that he only gets third place. At least he placed, after all.
The other event is the marathon, which involves disarming an antler bomb. Also, the tug of war is not much of a tug or war, but rather, see how long Nokotan’s antlers can go. The funny thing is that the announcer announces that the winner is Nokotan. Wait, so she wins by doing nothing at all?! Also, Torako freaks out when Nokotan does another deer parade like she did in the zoo. Not only that, I find it funny how Neko freaks out that participants are using Tsucchi as a ball, which is, believe it or not, her pet.
Eventually comes the relay race. As expected, the deer are all over the track, making the event impossible. With that, Torako takes Nokotan and depletes her deer senbei supply. The funny thing is that she accidentally reveals her delinquent side, which she has tried so hard to hide, to turn a new leaf and be an honor student. However, the student body sees Torako as being excellent. Then again, they probably already know that she frequently yells at Nokotan with her antics. As expected, the Sports Festival ended late, which is what I expected after all.
