While we didn’t get a beach episode because of the extensive time skip to fall. Surprisingly, there is no Christmas episode, but of course, there is a New Year one or a New Deer Day instead.
In the first segment, Torako Anko and Meme went to the shrine. The funny thing is that this is a deer shrine, and they made Nokotan a goddess. It’s weird how the goddess Nokotan doesn’t recognize Torako, and she gets annoyed and perplexed that Nokotan is a goddess.
I suppose the lady managing the shrine has something to do with it since she is a big fan of deer. In other words, they made everything deer-themed, and the people ate it up. Yes, they had deer fortunes, a burning of antlers, and antler soup with Nokotan used as soup stock.
Of course, Torako is annoyed that all she can think about is that Nokotan is late. Then, she popped out of nowhere without recollection of what was happening. Then she hands Anko, Meme, and Torako a cup of something, which is antler soup. Yep, Torako figured Nokotan was the goddess all along. That is pretty funny, given that this torments Torako, and Nokotan does not recognize her.
In the second segment, Nokotan, Anko, and Torako play a game called Life, Deer Edition. The goal is to get to the goal and have the most deer senbei. It’s funny how they parody the Super Smash Bros fighter appearance thing. As expected, Torako takes the easy route by going to the city and becoming an idol in the first place, raking in all the deer senbei, while Nokotan takes the sea route. The funny thing is that she becomes God, becomes a moose, and even manages to subdue a bear, which leads Alaska to become part of the US. Meanwhile, Anko becomes a queen and rules over her subjects.
.
Of course, Torako is the rabbit, or capybara, as she gets hit with a scandal in which she is not a deer. The funny thing is that she has no deer crackers, and Nokotan wins. Sure, it seems unfair for Torako to lose, but at least she had fun. The funny thing is that Meme was making mochi and eventually passed out since she had eaten too many. Somehow, Nokotan’s moose antlers help cure her, so is she God? Maybe.
@chikorita157 the smash bros ultimate reference made my jaw drop, it was so unexpected but like damn
Any good Smash reference is good in my books, one of the best parts of this episode, although there are others.
