At last, Awayuki does her first collab with Kaeru after appearing on Eirai’s quiz show. You might be wondering how did their first collaboration go. Also, Awayuki went on a “date” with Chami to an amusement park.
Awayuki finally shows up at the Live-On offices, and she finds an identified woman on the floor. It becomes apparent that it’s Kaeru all along. Yep, she is the VTuber who wants to act like a baby so she doesn’t have to go to work. It’s interesting how they show each other from their point of view as cut-out figures until they find out they are VTubers, after all.
As expected, Kaeru shows some anxiety about doing an in-person collaboration. She wants to make it appear that she is working and has decided to collaborate in person. We find out that Kaeru used to work as a mangaka, but she was unsuccessful after years of trying. After getting close to thirty, she cannot find work at all, given her lack of qualifications.
It’s not surprising that Kaeru finds out she is talking to Awayuki with Awauki, who is guessing she brought Kaeru in. Kaeru eventually apologizes for humiliating herself in front of Awayuki. The fourth-gen looks up to Awayuki, although Alice probably does the most. Still, Kaeru is the second highest as to why Kaeru decides to become a VTuber, so she can act like a baby and be anti-employment as well. It is not surprising, given how unsuccessful her mangaka was with the effort Kaeru put in. With that, she would rather have an easy life.
As for the stream itself, Kaeru views Awayuki as her ultimate mother. Yep, Awayuki has her members under her who look up to her. It’s like Shion to make Awayuki her daughter from last time. It’s funny how Shuwa/Awayuki became shocked after hearing this. Kaeru decided this after Awayuki found her and brought her into the office, thus saving her. Besides Alice, Kaeru looks up to Awayuki in her ever-growing female harem.
As expected, there is a question session. In short, Shuwa’s answers have something to do with Strong Zero, such as collecting cans and reading romantic stories about Strong Zero. Kaeru’s answers involve being a child, such as singing children’s songs and eating steaks with a “bib.” Of course, they end off the steam of Shuwa pinning Kaeru to the floor and tickling her.
As expected, from the way to the end of the stream, it looks like they had a lot of fun. Of course, Kaeru started to cry, and Awayuki hugged her. From this, Kaeru has a new goal: making Awayuki proud to have her as a daughter.
In the second segment, Awayuki goes to an amusement park with Chami. Of course, it is about Chami deciding to go to an amusement park to become more extroverted.
As expected, she has a lot of shy moments. With that, they had their picture taken by other people and went on a roller coaster, a haunted house, tea cups, and a Farris wheel. I won’t spoil much, but seeing Chami and Awayuki getting off an intense roller coaster When they went into a cage cart instead of a regular Farris wheel cart, it’s funny to see their reaction. That said, they also went to other places after their amusement park trip. Either way, it looks like they had a fun trip.

VTuber Legend Episode 7: Babu Babu Riders – The Yuri Empire
Kaeru toning down her baby thing and explaining her relatable dislike of the job market made for a surprisingly great episode. Her collab with Kokorone was pretty good too. That being said fingers crossed we eventually get an animated Kaeru X Shion collab. It must happen.
The Kokorone X Chami Chami date was wonderful, yes.
Agreed, she does a better job at “lying flat” thing or rather, her version of anti-work, but VTubing is more like a fun job.
Yes, the Awayuki and Chami date was nice as well.
