Now that Awayuki has introduced the 4th generation of Live-On VTubers, one has a massive obsession with Awayuki and Shuwa. Now, Eirai invites Shuwa, Nekoma, and Hikari to her animal-themed quiz show. Also, Shion gets her time with Awayuki/Shuwa as well.
Given that Eirai, the elf lady, focuses on an animal-themed quiz. It’s funny how the answers Shuwa, Nekoma and Hikari give funny answers, even if they are wrong or happen to be correct. The funny thing is that Hikari couldn’t answer two questions correctly. However, she eventually pulled her head after getting one answer right and, at the last question, managed to answer it correctly. As expected, the answers provide too much information regarding the animals in question, like monkeys drinking StrongZero to African millipedes wrapping their eggs in their poop. Yes, this is real.
In the second segment, Awayuki goes to Shion to do a collab. Yes, there is that awkward moment when Awayuki wants to act like a baby and drink StrongZero from a baby bottle. After all, Awayuki promised to be on stream, and Shion intends to make it happen. Of course, Shion got some voice clips from it, too.
As for Shuwa’s appearance on Shion’s VTuber News Show, Hareru’s Gacha pulls. Wait, is this Bang Dream Girls Band Party she plays with Mitake Ran from Afterglow on the title screen?
Believe it or not, Hareru wants to pull a specific card, but she has terrible luck before going full whale trying to pull a five-star card of Mitake Ran. Yep, when she pulled it off, she acted like a chimpanzee. Still, I have a feeling they have Hareru wanting to pull a 5-star Ran, which is that the Seiyuu for Awayuki/Shuwa, Sakura Ayane, also voices Ran. It’s supposed to be a Seiyuu reference here, after all.
Aside from that, they shared their reaction to Hikari eating super-spicy max yakisoba. Hikari called on their stream, and Shuwa asked who she would give birth to. Of course, she answers both. Shion and Shuwa figured that it was not worth fighting this over. Of course, the final story is about Kaeru and the pacifier noises, almost getting her banned from her first stream. I guess it’s not too surprising. Somehow, she got numerous fanart, and Kaeru thanked everyone for making it. Shuwa seems surprised by this, making you wonder if Shuwa will collaborate with her.
After the stream, Shion had a bath with Shuwa. As expected, Shion mentions how much fun she and her fellow VTubers have thanks to Shuwa. With that, Shion wants to collaborate with Kaeru too. Not too surprising, after all. Given what Shuwa says about finding the answer a few days later, I wonder what it might be.

Vtuber Legend Episode 6: Mama Zoo – The Yuri Empire
@chikorita157
I spent so many hours watching VTubers recently as 'research' that my YouTube recommendations are all VTubers now. :neocat_shocked:
I've said this on the watch party but I'll say it again. This series is more of a documentary where characters and events in VTuber land are remixed. Almost every event actually happened. Someone's gotta document this show with notes.
@anianimalsmoe @chikorita157 Are Japanese VTubers even crazier? Because this most recent episode had some pretty far out stuff. To the point where all the *** in the translation sometimes were difficult to keep up with.
I’m still surprised (but happy) that they were allowed to make this show. Could easily have been painfully clueless.
Or is that less common in Japan? Because it’s horribly common in the west:(
@yon @chikorita157
They're pretty crazy.
The confessions and proposals?
The quizzes with nonsense answers?
The baby thing? HoloBabies
The meme news? AsaCoco
Yes, it's exaggerated, but based on real events done tongue-in-cheek (we hope).
@anianimalsmoe @chikorita157 There were a few very far out parts 🙂 And I’m not remotely sensitive either. Found it funny that the **** parts actually made you think for once. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out what f**k is after all:)
Given what I have seen so far, I’m not too surprised that this is basically Halo Live, but in written form with different characters.
Yep, I kind of interested in VTubers, but of course time…
@chikorita157@chikorita157.com Continuing the trend of offbeat references with the Atari video game burial
ET the Video Game reference?
@chikorita157@chikorita157.com Yup. Of all the reference jokes, this one was the most unexpected for me.
