With Anna being upset and unwilling to talk to her friends after discovering that Stout Records is shutting down, Kanata has a solution. Cheer for them to save the record shop?
From last time, we know that Anna is trying to throw everything at the wall to see if it will stick. She even promoted the shop on social networks and put up a website. However, it doesn’t seem to stick as she is frustrated. The funny thing is that the people went to the wrong store, not in Japan, but in America. Yep, she eventually vents her frustration on a punching bag.
In the background, Kanata and her friends are working behind the scenes to cheer them during the Takasaki Central Ginza Carnival. But obviously, they will need more people to make it work, which is why the idea of a Bon Dance came up. Thinking of Anna, it probably has to be something Latin.
As expected, Nodoka asked her mother for help, and she was willing to help. It explains why they are in the Yoga studio. It’s funny to see the girls struggle, except for Shion. With that, they finally had ideas for the dance.
Days before the event, Nodoka tries to wake Anna up. She won’t get out of bed as she drags Anna out. Anna seems frustrated as she is busy doing her own thing to save the shop, but Nodoka wants to show them what they are working on. Yep, they saw what’s obvious. Kanata reveals they will cheer for the shop to save it from closing. As expected, Anna shares her frustrations to prevent the shop from closing down. Eventually, Anna decides to do it and make the music. After all, she needs to do whatever she can to make it a success.
As for the performance itself, while it seemed like it wouldn’t work, it eventually caught the people’s attention. That is while the old regulars and other people flocking to Stout Records on their last day and figuring out there are hidden gems there. After Kanata and her friends finished performing, Anna saw some people she knew at the shop and reunited with them.
Eventually, YJ decided not to shut down Stout Records but to change the business to meet the times. That means instead of having a physical store, he decides to change it into a café and transition the store to an online one so people can find records not found anywhere else. Either way, maybe it has to do with the lady who visited the shop days before its planned closure. I wonder if she had a role in it. That said, at least Kanata’s and her friend’s efforts in saving the place special to Anna.

Nodoka getting turned on imagining Anna going wild and devoting most of her free time to help save Anna’s paradise was all I needed to solidify their ship. Like I said last episode they can be the bickering pair
Anna finding a second family in Stout Records was heartwarming.
The animation during Anna’s stress relief Capoeira was awesome.
Their performance was nice too.
Nice to see Nodoka thinking about Anna and thinking what she likes, but it’s good that things eventually worked out. Agreed, they need to make the ship stronger of course.
Also nice to see everyone reunite and keep Stout Records open of course.
