Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan – Episode 4 – The Failed Plot to Take Down the Deer Club

July 28, 2024 by Chikorita157 3 Comments
It’s obvious that the other student council members spied on the deer club. Are the up to something?

Do you remember the girls spying on the deer club and how Torako acts while doing club activities there? We find out that they are plotting against the deer club. The question is, can they pull it off?

We know that Torako presents herself as a model student. If you recall, three girls were spying on the deer club last time. Yes, it becomes evident that Nekoyamda Neko, who has hair that looks like a cat girl and is also vice president, wants to take Torako down.

Obviously, Neko wants Torako’s position, but how can she get it?
Despite being like a cat girl, nobody seems to support her compared to Torako.

The thing is, Torako is more popular than her, and she attempts to one-up Torako so she can become president. It’s funny to see her have less support than her. Even so, she is trying to one-up Torako to make it appear that she is more reliable than Torako as she prints all the booklets. The funny thing is that Torako thinks Neko is cute as she uses a step stool since she is short.

Kinu really lacks self confidence.
Chiharu is really… quiet.

As for the other members who want to take down the deer club, Tanukikoji Kinu, the secretary, is clumsy. She doesn’t have much confidence in herself and is very awkward. Unfortunately, she puts herself down so often. Also, Tsubameya Chiharu is a quiet girl who works for the treasurer. She hardly says anything. Of course, Nokotan wonders where Torako is all this time. Yep, she is busy doing student council work

Torako finds… Chiharu in the deer club’s house.
Anko and Meme is giving a bad impression of the club.

The next day, Chiharu shows up at the deer club. The funny thing is that Torako kicks Anko and Meme out since she doesn’t want them to embarrass her. She tells Nokotan not to reveal or do anything that can ruin her reputation. Of course, Anko and Meme try to butt themselves back into the clubhouse, but they get kicked out. Even that deer from last time showed up.

Yep, Nokotan actually showed that video.
Yes, Nokotan actually does this, which freaks Torako out even more.
Obviously, Chiharu is a big fan of Nokotan, but have a hard time expressing it.

Even so, Nokotan eventually plays that video from last time, which has a lot of embarrassing things, and even spills a big box of deer senbei on top of Chiharu. The funny thing is that Chiharu came there for Nokotan as she is too shy to admit it. In short, Nokotan received yet another fan.

Kinu runs into Torako.
Yep, this cliche found in most anime.

Next is Kinu, who accidentally bumps into Torako. Torako decides to help her in the gym equipment shed, but they get locked in. The sad thing is that Kinu self-depreciates herself and feels doomed that they won’t make it out alive. It’s funny how Torako tries to call Nokotan to walk by for help, but she is focused on her singing instead. The music video of her loving deer senbei is just random.

Funny how Nokotan ignores Torako’s pleas for rescue and instead sing this song, which has a music video of its own.
Torako tries to get Kinu to stop self-depreciating herself.
Nokotan finally saves her by chance.
She finds a girl in her mushroom supply.

The sad part is that Kinu wants to punish herself for being helpless for something out of her control. She wanted to join the cooking club but ended up in the student council instead and felt this was a punishment for lying. It’s funny how Torako tries to get her out until the door opens. It’s Nokotan with a bucket. Yep, she is there by chance to pick mushrooms, but she seems confused when Torako looks happy that Nokotan is rescuing them. The funny thing is that Kinu is where the mushroom grows.

Kinu became one of them.

In the end, Kinu ends up eating rice with mushrooms in the deer club. It’s funny how Neko is left alone in the office, wondering where everyone goes. It looks like they have fallen for the deer club.  I guess Neko’s mission to take down the deer club has failed.

My favorite of the seitokai trio was Kinu. Her exaggerated anxiety attacks were hilarious.

Chiharu’s fangirl crush on Nokotan’s cute. She’s more fun to watch than Bashame.

Poor Torako can’t catch a break. It’s both sad and funny.

The Setokai trio is amusing for sure. Like how Chiharu is basically a fangirl of Nokotan although it was’t obvious. That said, seeing Torako having to deal with Nokotan’s antics is funny. although Chiharu likes it, although I do feel sorry for Kinu though.

      Neko is funny though.
