Last time, Awayuki had her “sober” stream. However, she was playing a janky game like Getting Over It. We know what happened when she got frustrated. We know what happened to her mic.
From last time, Awayuki had a sober stream, but obviously, she played a janky game called Getting Over It. Believe it or not, she acted like she was drunk as she showed her frustration, cursed at the mic and broke it. RIP eardrums and mic as Awayuki gives it a farewell.
Eventually, Chami called and offered to give her some mics. Yep, she is the ASMR ear-cleaning vTuber in her generation, and she watched and fell asleep during that stream. Of course, Awayuki came over to her house, and Chami offered an ASMR mic and a mic of her choice. It’s funny how she keeps going to the bathroom for a moment at a time, but it’s apparent that she is really shy.
Eventually, Awayuki asks what she is doing in the bathroom, but she wants to cool off and calm down since her heart is racing. It’s funny how Awayuki says people will call her a “waste production facility” if she keeps going to the bathroom. Of course, Chami served a meal with a can of Strong Zero for Awayuki. Chami said to have a can on hand. Awayuki, of course, guested on Chami’s stream with many funny moments, such as Chami sharing her moment at the restaurant and her struggles ordering. Also, it was nice to see some intimate moments when Awayuki got up and became personal with her.
To top that off, Awayuki stayed over before making a joke about it first. Chami never thought this day would come, as she had a sleepover readiness kit on hand. Not only that, but she also wants to share a bath with her. Chami also does ear cleaning for Awayuki. While Chami is nervous, it seems that Awayuki eventually sleeps on her lap and wants to sleep on the same futon. Yep, it’s a nice moment with Awayuki and Chami.
Aside from that, Awayuki has a new mic on hand. Her monetization is now live, and, of course, her new model for her drunk side, Mashiron, is made by Shuwa. While it’s a mystery why she received 155 yen as donations, she finally has her Strong Zero. After drinking, she received a significant donation that excited her before showing off her new model. After all, She is happy to earn money without working for a company that treats her like a corporate slave. Of course, she assures the audience that Awayuki isn’t going away.
Of course, she has a call in with Matsuriya Hikari, who congratulates her on her monetization. Yes, she is the first VTuber to whom Shuwa confessed her love and hopes to play video games with her someday. Of course, Sei also called in, wanting to do an Eroge collab, Mashiron talking about her new model, and Shion trying to get a request from Shuwa. Chami is too nervous to say anything, although Shuwa thanks her for the mics.
Lastly, there is a surprise call from Hirune Nekoma, but is it her? When she called in, Shuwa said she loved Hareru’s streams and proposed. That is until Hirune Nekoma calls again and reveals that Hareru is in the same room. Shuwa never knew this day would come. Shuwa is surprised as Hirune reveals that she did this as a surprise for her.
@chikorita157 It’s such a goofy show. Reminds me of the amazing movie hackers that it’s 50 dead on perfectly real and 50 just bonkers fun.
Them all living close by makes sense with Tokyo, but it’s such a different experience from what I’m used to with the lot of them spread out. It’s still a bit odd seeing the “real” character actually look like the VTuber.
I think that’s a lost opportunity. Because more often than not there’s a pretty big discrepancy to be honest. With a few exceptions (Sinder’s cosplay is crazy spot on). Plus a big want to stay anonymous. Sometimes for not at all fun reasons.
Also it’s fun how everything is super accelerated. That new model reveal would have taken hours normally 🙂 That and they are focusing super hard on the lewd stuff.
Sure there are lewd stuff, and there are some full on 18+ streamers (Project Melody for example). But even they tend to be pretty wholesome on average.
Also I wish they would have spent more on the VTuber models and used that view more often. Had the VAs done that whole thing. Feels we are missing out on that aspect. It flies by super fast.
(And no 3D VTuber? We are missing a genre!)
I will watch the rest of the season. Funny stuff:)
Agreed, and it’s interesting how they incorporate Live2D models and such. That said, I don’t really watch many VTubers when I started this anime.
That said, if everything is in Live2D, it wouldn’t be a full anime, right?
3D VTubing is probably harder to pull off, needing VR headsets (or even an Apple Vision Pro) or a full motion capture suit to make it work, but it would be interesting though.
@chikorita157 I wouldn’t expect the whole show to be in VTuber mode, but right now it’s such a tiny part of it that it just flashes by. I think it would help the show if these scenes were 10-20 seconds instead of 2-5 seconds.
Filian (and others but she does it best) already streams 3D only and she’s using that 3D to the fullest to say the least. She uses the Valve stuff. With trackers etc so it’s fully body and everything.
I’m talking flips and the whole nine yards. Well worth spending 5 mins to check out her shenanigans just to see the current state of 3D. I honestly wonder if she used to do gymnastics or similar.
Said it before, but the show feels like a passion project. Feels like they both care and all watch VTubers.
It’s nice that the show isn’t a giant stupid corporate stunt to appeal to the kids. Seen so much of that over the years.
The collabs and gayness were both strong. I want more!
Yep, I’m enjoying those collabs and the yuri doesn’t disappoint at all, it’s pretty strong. Liking it so far.
