Now that some time has passed and Torako and Nokotan start their third year of high school, Torako finds a deer in the club room.
As expected, after Anko trashes the Deer Clubhouse, everything seems to be back to normal. Of course, Torako looked surprised when she saw a buck deer eating the shika sanbei supply. The jest of this segment is good; Torako thinks that this deer was Nokotan. It kicked Torako a few times as she believed she could get Norako out of the deer, which is quite funny.
Eventually, after the buck ate all the shika senbei, it started aiming for the plant. Of course, Torako does the last resort and starts singing that song from that secret notebook. It’s funny how she sang it and caught the attention of the deer until Nokotan showed up. Yep, Torako embarrassed herself as the deer was not Nonoko all this time. The buck was a deer that escaped from a zoo. I guess the embarrassment is for nothing, but seeing Torako on an imaginary stage with a deer and an audience holding light pens is funny.
In the second half, the new school year has started. As expected, Torako finds a green-haired girl who wants to become a deer named Bashame Meme (funny name). Torako freaks out when she discovers her. She wanted to become one after she passed out at the school entrance from hunger, and Nokotan offered a shika senbei to Meme.
Of course, the funny part about her is that she spends time in the club room cooking, eating a lot of rice, and wanting to grow a rice paddy. Of course, Nokotan and eventually Meme want their hair to get brushed by Torako. We know how Anko reacts, as seen when Meme trying to get close to Torako and Nokotan, and Meme wants Torako to brush their hair. In short, Anko wants Torako to ignore the other two girls and focus her attention on her. Meanwhile, three students observe the craziness of the deer club. I wonder why they are curious. I guess we’ll find out eventually.
@chikorita157 Watched all three episodes in two sittings. This show is sooo sooo sooo sooo weird. So weird. Like Monty Python weird.
What is it with the sister btw? Her behavior would make PrnHb blush!
Yep, it’s quire a silly and weird show, in a good way.
Yes, Torako’s sister is something… maybe too protective of her older sister.
@chikorita157 I think protective is a very very diplomatic way of putting it.
Great seeing a siscon openly declaring her desire to be with her beloved onee-chan without being the least bit subtle. I’m tired of brocons getting that privilege. Let the Yuri wincest get the spotlight for a change. It’s been too long.
I continue to lose brain cells watching this show and I don’t regret it.
Agreed,
Besides the opening song itself and the song Torako made, I’m not too surprised, but worth it in the end.
