Finally, Shizuru and her friends arrive at Ikebukuro. The question is, can they bring Yoka back and stop 7G?
It is funny how the residents see train crossing gates go down since it seems unusual. Shizuru, of course, went at top speed before crashing into the stopper. Yep, that is undoubtedly a crash into the bay. I will be surprised if the train still works if they have to make an escape. Of course, Pontaro’s grunts try to capture Shizuru and her friends, but they are quickly taken down as Pocchi pushes them down and leads the way to Yoka.
They eventually find her, but she doesn’t seem to remember Shizuru and her friends, as the 7G uses Yoka to push the friends away. It makes it appear that Yoka is a lost cause. Still, she starts to remember some things about herself, but not the incident when Shizuru and Yoka got upset at each other.
Of course, before they can get to her, the guard leads her to safety as the guards and Pontaro show up. Thankfully, the girls returned to the rain and went in reverse to get away to regroup.
With the girls back in Shiinamachi, they wonder if Yoka is a lost cause since Reimi thinks they are ghosting them. Shizuru is losing hope that she can ever make up with Yoka. However, the bitter melon starts to shake; apparently, it’s a communication line.
Funny how they cut the melon, and it’s basically a phone that Makoto and Zenjiro say pressing the button will stop 7G, but there is probably a security measure. Akira thinks of something like the nuclear football. It’s a bunch of codes that Secret Service agents carry around with the president in the event they need to launch a nuclear attack.
This might be the case when we see each other later. Aside from that, it’s evident that Reimi seems curious about this melon phone. However, Makoto has them cut and eats them. Bitter melon might have a special effect as it might be vital in bringing Yoka back. After she ate it, she has some memories of Agano come back.
Eventually, Mito shows up with the zombies, and apparently, the zombies desire to return to normal. It’s vital to know where the 7G button might be. Believe it or not, it’s in the department store, and Shizuru and her friends can use them to ward off the grunts. Funny how the department store tries to entice the girls with spending money on deals and expensive art, but they push through. Funny, Shizuru kicks down the painting when the sales voice threatens them that they must pay.
Of course, the zombies are there around the button. Of course, the Pocchi guard shows up as he fights against Shizuru and Reimi. When Mito and Akira managed to push the button, things froze for a moment but resumed. Sadly, Yoka does need to end 7G as the Pocchi guard manages to knock Shizuru out cold. Pocchi, the dog, seems very angry at the guard. That is while Pontaro tries to escape with Yoka. Can Shizuru and her friends stop Pontaro to escape, and Shizuru make up with Yoka to stop 7G? We have to wait and see in the finale.
