Now that Shizuru and her friends are getting closer to Ikebukuro, it’s evident that Pontaro doesn’t want them to reach there. After all, it can put his plans of ending the world with 7G.
As Shizuru and her friends head closer to Ikebukuro, they discover the correct map. Still, the drawings, in their view, aren’t that great. Reimi still doesn’t even believe the man. Even so, it’s funny to see Reimi try to scare Akira as she chases after her.
Shizuru notices that Pochi is looking out the front window. That is until they saw three cartoonish animals trying to cart themselves somewhere. Shizuru made a sudden stop. Believe it or not, it’s Shizuru’s dad with the fire department. Apparently, they were looking for Shizuru and her friends.
Apparently, he is happy to see Shizuru and her friends again, although he looks different. From the looks of it, they got their butts kicked in Shiinamachi. Yep, they turned them into cute cartoonish animals that are all beaten up. Of course, Shizuru is confident that she and her friends can take them on. That is when Shizuru’s father offered a green barret, which Akira wanted for some reason. After all, it’s a valid symbol of rebellion and decadence in her eyes.
Apparently, Shiuru’s father saw Yoka, but she has longer hair and looks evil for some reason. It should give what Shizuru is up against. Of course, they learn from Zenjiro that there is a way to stop 7G and return the world to where it was before. Reimi doesn’t seem to mind how the world is now, but of course, Shizuru wants to make up with Yoka.
With that, as they approach Shiinamachi, it gets really crowded. There is another roadblock, and they must go into the city. That is when they see ominous signs with a board hung up showing the number of people turned into custards or arrested. There are three failed mangaka who are in the way. They use magical pens to turn Nadeshiko, Reimi and Shizuru into different manga representations of themselves in various styles. Of course, Shizuru becomes a cute cat-like animal, rendering her jiu-jitsu skills useless.
As expected, that mangaka can’t use their powers on Reimi as she has her own powers thanks to the beret she is wearing. Of course, the other girls borrow the barret to use it against the mangaka. Seeing them use their imaginations to use their powers against them was funny. I won’t spoil too much about this segment. Still, of course, they are obviously tasked to stop Shizuru and her friend from reaching Ikebukuro.
Ultimately, they resigned, and Shizuru, Nadeshiko, and Reimi returned to normal as the path to Ikebukuro cleared with the last stop nearby. What lies ahead? Can they bring Yoka back and have Shizuru make up with her? Can they stop 7G before it’s too late? We have to wait and see next time.
