Now that the Sakura is finally blooming, Rin decides to go on a solo camping trip to see the flowers. Also, Nadeshiko goes Hanami as Sakura drives her around places with the trees blooming.
It has been a while since Rin has gone solo camping. Of course, she remembered that her grandfather suggested touring between seasons since it was the best time. She won’t break a sweat while wearing a jacket nor feel too cold. She decides to go to a non-managed park with Sakura trees in full bloom. Of course, Rin saw a couple of car camping as they had fried rice. The funny thing is that the couple thought Rin was in college, as there was no way a high schooler would camp alone in early spring.
After Rin looked around, crossing a bridge, she saw trash thrown on the ground. She is not happy at all as she grabs a trash bag. A lady notices her picking up trash when she and her boyfriend offer to take it as she has room to take it. Yep, they offer her coffee; Rin can’t drink it black. Still, it shows how people have no respect when it comes to unlawful littering, and it would be sad to see the campsite close with people being disrespectful and not picking up after their trash.
After drinking her coffee, Rin cooks lunch from the tomatoes she got from Ena during their camping trip. As expected, she had Pasta with spinach and plenty of tomatoes. It is funny how she mentions the Italians as she is worried that they would judge her for breaking the Pasta. She enjoyed her meal while looking at Sakura.
The day before, Sakura saw Nadeshiko looking somewhere. She notices a big puff of Cherry Blossoms nearby. Sakura offered to drive her there tomorrow as Nadeshiko wouldn’t go there. It’s funny how the next day, she prepared sandwiches when there was one left over and decided to eat it when Sakura walked in. Yep, they went to that shrine as Nadeshiko walked the stairs.
It’s in a secluded place, which is excellent given that when I went to Hanami in Washington, DC, this year, there were tons of people, especially at the Tidal Basin. Sakura drove to various places, especially those places with big shidareszakura trees. Sadly, the parking was full, but seeing them while Sakura drove was good enough.
Of course, Nadeshiko took pictures of herself with sakura flowers, especially the trees. She is like me, taking photographs of Sakura in Mankai (満開, full bloom) and sharing them with Rin. It’s funny how Rin looked at one of the photos and fell asleep upward until she realized she had overslept. She packed all her stuff up and noticed the couple was gone.
Thankfully, she reached the nearby hot springs to relax before going home. She runs into that lady she met before, which is nice. She talks about using a sports bike from Shimizu to Saitama during Sakura season. Of course, Rin has a motorcycle, but she probably doesn’t want to do a bike tour since she is so used to the scooter. It’s funny how Rin thinks Nadeshiko would be fast on a bike, but it is no surprise since she had to lose weight thanks to Sakura pushing her to exercise.
Either way, the focus is on Chiaki again as she goes solo camping. It should be an exciting camp for her as we head to that eventual group Hanami camping trip.
